The 1904-05 Great Welsh Awakening, What It Looks Like And What We Do Not See Today

I have posted and spoke on the difference of a revival and a great awakening, today this is a unknown thing, and reader it should not be. I wanted to share the short history from the ones in the great awakening to let you read what a true biblical revival was, and should be. What people call revival today and what is going on and called a great revival is not a revival, not a biblical one, but a out breaking of the Kundalini spirit, demons and the flesh. The weeping, repentance, the word of God, is not taught, no conviction, no holiness, just crazy manifestations and so see what one was and let this be your gauge, you see a true revival like this starts with the person, you, one heart at a time. We will never see such a thing again, as Paul said in the end days men shall fall away and a turn from sound doctrine, but there can always be a true revival in your heart, in your home and in some churches, and so the power of the holy spirit, the true remnant believers always have by the lords grace the possibility for another great awakening like the one in 1904 the welsh revival.

In 1984 I was Ministering in a Methodist Church, I saw a little glimpse of a true awakening, I was blessed to be a part of it, from this revival I saw, I felt the lord wanted to do more, and he did, in our F.T. coffee house ministry and street ministry,

Read below What is a true orthodox biblical revival and compare it to what you see today. History speaks volumes, and gives many lessons.

1. THE WELSH REVIVAL OF 1904-05 - Oliver W. Price
During the spring of 1904 a young Welshman named Evan Roberts was repeatedly awakened at 1:00 a.m. He met with God until 5:00 a.m. The Welsh revival followed. Churches were packed for prayer meetings. In a prayer meeting for young people, Pastor Joseph Jenkins asked for testimonies. A young girl named Florrie Evans, who had only been a believer a few days, rose and with a trembling voice said simply, "I love Jesus with all my heart." The other young people's hearts were melted. A powerful spiritual awakening that brought 100,000 people to Christ was under way.

On November 7th, 1904 Moraih Chapel was filled to capacity for a prayer meeting that lasted until 3:00 a.m. Soul winning spread through the coalmines. Profane swearing stopped. Even the miners' horses were puzzled when their masters stopped cursing. Orders to the Bible Society "for Scriptures from Wales during November and December, were over three times the amount for the corresponding months of 1903..." The Times said this resulted from the Welsh revival, adding that this demand showed no sign of falling off.

"The mighty and unseen breath of the Spirit was doing in a month more than centuries of legislation could accomplish" the pastor of Saint John's-Wood Presbyterian Church declared on Sunday, January 1st, 1905 according to the London Times. The Welsh revival "had a great effect" in healing spiritual carelessness among Christians and "the growing bitterness which has accentuated our unhappy divisions", the Bishop of Bangor declared on January 2nd, 1905. He called "congregations to meet together often for united prayer."

The Times added that "the religious revival in Wales continues...with unabated zeal." Huge crowds were attending the meetings. Bible verses covered the doors down in the coalmines. "At Swansea the Poor Law guardians...dealt with revival cases in which people...have taken their parents from the workhouse. The Welsh revival movement has shown no sign of flagging...", The Times pointed out on January 10th. Entire congregations were on their knees in fervent prayer and "for the first time there was not a single case of drunkenness at the Swansea Petty Sessions."

On January 11th The Times noted that David Lloyd-George, who later became the British Prime Minister, said the Welsh revival gave hope "that at the next election Wales would declare with no uncertain sound against the corruption in high places which handed over the destiny of the people to the horrible brewing interest..." Lloyd-George even saw one of his political rallies taken over by the Welsh revival. He was impressed as a young girl prayed in the presence of 2,000 people. He said in one town the tavern sold only 9 cents worth of liquor drinks on Saturday night!

The Times observed that "The whole population had been suddenly stirred by a common impulse. Religion had become the absorbing interest of their lives. They had gathered at crowded services for six and eight hours at a time. Political meetings and even football matches were postponed...quarrels between trade-union workmen and non-unionists had been made up... At Glyn-Neath a feud had existed for the past 10 or 12 years between the two Independent chapels, but during the past week united services have been held in both chapels, and the ministers have shaken hands before the congregations."

The Salvation Army set apart January 19th, 1905 for a day of confession, humiliation, and prayer throughout England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. All day prayer meetings were held in many of the principal cities of the British Isles, according to the London Times. The meeting was marked by "fervent prayer and any one who felt called upon to pray." Fires of spiritual revival and moral recovery were spreading.

Coal miners crowed into prayer meetings that lasted till 3:00 a.m. and then washed, ate breakfast and returned to work. Many drunkards confessed their sins and received Christ. According to the London Times of February 2nd, 1905 due to the Welsh revival many men abandoned dens of iniquity. Employers noticed a great improvement in the work produced by their employees. A judge named Sir Marchant Williams said that his work was much lighter especially regarding drunkenness and related offenses.

The revival fires burning in Wales in 1904-05 spread through England, Ireland and Scotland. Prayer meetings multiplied. As many as 2,000 attended a prayer meeting in the city of Bradford. In the City of Leeds, Samuel Chadwick reported that his church was never empty all day. An amazing work of grace transformed life in a factory.

In 1905 a week of united prayer meetings in an English town called Nuneaton led to a "glorious revival". The Prince's Theatre was packed each Sunday night after church with 1500 praying believers and many unsaved seekers. In Bulwell, many of the most degraded drunkards were converted. In the Bedfordshire villages, whole nights devoted to prayer prepared for powerful evangelism.

Joseph Kemp, pastor of Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh, visited God's mighty work of revival in Wales in 1904. Back in his home church on New Year's Eve, 1905, an unusually fervent prayer meeting led to conviction of sin. A powerful revival that continued for over two years was under way. A strong work of evangelism began. 1,000 inquirers received counseling.

The Irish Presbyterians issued a Call to Prayer. Noonday and evening prayer meetings multiplied. The Irish Methodists and other denominations experienced an unusual spirit of grace and supplications. In Lurgan, revival meetings packed both the First Presbyterian and the Methodist churches. The taverns were emptied while people who had not attended church before come in record numbers and received Christ.

Revival fires spread through Bangor University resulting in "only a third or fourth of the students attending some of the classes... Beginning with a spontaneous outburst of praise and prayer among the men students, the movement a united prayer meeting...some...broke down sobbing."

In 1905 when Fred C. Gibson became pastor of 1st Presbyterian Church in Tobormore, County Londonderry, Ireland the little town was morally and spiritually dead. So he signed a covenant with God to seek revival by his preaching and his prayers. In spite of strong resistance, God moved in special meetings that changed the Christians and resulted in remarkable conversions of hardened sinners.

God can do it again. Join with others all over the world in praying for spiritual awakening. Gather a group to pray on the first Monday of each month.

2. TRUE REVIVAL (Wales) - P. Fredrick Fogle

When a true revival, initiated by God occurs in the hearts of Christians, the Holy Spirit will help them to understand that it is real. For many people, the word "true" is hard to define. What is true, and what is not true is thought of as debatable. The proper understanding of what REVIVAL really is has become illusive for many. One of the best ways to define TRUE REVIVAL is to cite a positive and powerful example. The example chosen for our purposes is a brief account the story of the revival in Wales in 1904-05:

Wales has periodically been a land of revivals. It experienced spiritual renewal in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The Welsh revival of 1904-05 was a divine intervention that drastically changed life in churches, homes, mines, factories, schools and even places of leisure and entertainment.

God used young Evan Roberts to spark the new fires of revival. He was not the human leader of the revival, however. In fact, no one human leader directed it. Evan was extremely conscious of divine leadership during the momentous events of the Welsh revival. He said, "This movement is not of me, it is of God. I would not dare direct it...It is the Spirit alone which is leading us" (Ellis, Living Echoes, Delyn Press).

Some have said that God chose Roberts because he lacked all the usual characteristics often found in human leaders. God secured the victory through Evan's simplicity and spiritual power. After the early phases of the revival, six men became major overseers along with less- active people, including men and women. Mrs. Jessie Penn-Lewis, a noted Christian author, strongly supported the endeavor, along with her husband.

Evan Roberts was one of fourteen children born to Henry and Hannah Roberts. He spent his childhood in an atmosphere in which the chapel and home were one. Intellectual and spiritual development in children were carried on simultaneously in many homes in Wales during the early 20th century. Roberts responded well to the spiritual atmosphere of his home background. As he matured, he grew in spirituality and gained a broad knowledge of literature and music. He enjoyed the interaction of intelligent conversation. One of his motives as he grew to manhood was to bring each of his endeavors in life into subservience to Christ. In Evan, "prayer and poetry became a beautiful blend, communion with God and music became practically synonymous" (Ellis)

As a young minister, Roberts brought to his pulpit a disciplined knowledge of the Scriptures as well as an unusual level of spiritual dedication. These attributes, coupled with literature, enabled him to deliver powerful and polished sermons that greatly amazed his hearers.

The year 1904 proved to be crucial. Prayer meetings for world revival were being held in many places throughout Great Britain. Young Roberts already had prayed for thirteen years for the Holy Spirit to control him. He determined to read and speak often about revival. His personal prayer effort culminated early that year when he felt the need to spend seven hours with God in prayer and Bible study each day. By October 1904 the Lord's Spirit had communicated to Roberts that he was the preacher of revival. Seth Joshua, a leading Bible teacher, had prayed for four years, asking God to select some able person to present revival truths. The Lord answered by calling Evan Roberts. After the Word of God had accomplished its work in his own life, Roberts intensified his praying in travail of soul for a great spiritual awakening in his beloved Wales. His spiritual thirst to see people saved was evident. He was not interested in mere intellectual renaissance.

Roberts went to his hometown of Loughor with the desire to share his burden with his Christian friends. A service was announced, and many young people attended. With great liberty, Roberts spoke of the deep things of God. Because of the clear manifestation of the conviction of sin and the need for cleansing by the Saviour, that first meeting was continued until midnight. The next day many comments were made in the village about the event. The people were agog. With the special work of God clearly visible, it was decided to keep the chapel open day and night so that worshipers could go there to pray and to praise God.

"Everything sprang into new life. Former blasphemers were the most eloquent, both in prayer and praise...Drunkards forgot the way to saloons...they were busy worshiping... It was the young people who responded with the greatest alacrity to the challenge of absolute surrender and consecrated to the service of the Lord...With ever increasing momentum, the movement advanced, creating unprecedented excitement among the churches and the secular institutions outside" (Matthews, I Saw the Welsh Revival, Moody).

What happened in South Wales was heard around the world. From many nations went people of all ranks of life to the country to personally witness the phenomenon. Some criticized and others scoffed, but such voices were answered by the throngs of people who filled the church sanctuaries to capacity for months on end.

The Welsh revival was not an orgy of emotion but a "mighty outpouring of religious fervor, bringing a whole nation to its knees at the foot of the cross in adoration and praise" (Matthews).  In the midst of the events at Loughor, Roberts was asked to share his message with neighboring churches in South Wales and eventually in North Wales as well. Marvelous results were very apparent wherever he taught the Word of God.

During Robert's work in North Wales, he suffered a serious physical collapse. Though very strong of body, having been a miner, the spiritual burden and intensity of the work had a telling effect. Evan Roberts spent much of the rest of his life in seclusion under the care of the Penn-Lewises. He went to his eternal reward in 1951. After Roberts withdrew from revival work, other people of God carried on with great success. Many joined local churches; industrial production spiraled, and criminal court activity was reduced to a minimum.

What God did in Wales through Evan Roberts should be an object lesson to the world. We desperately need revival today in order to see God glorified and to stem the tide of godlessness. A heaven-sent burden is needed concerning the sins of our world and of our churches. Sustained prayer must be the norm if we are to experience the birth pangs of a new spiritual era.

Gospel Herald and Sunday School Times  Spring Quarter 1996 Vol 14 Number 2

I believe the world is upon the threshold of a great religious revival, and I pray that I may be allowed to help bring this about. I beseech all those who confess Christ to ask Him today, upon their knees, if He has not some work for them to do now. He will lead them all as He has led us. He will make them pillars of smoke by day and pillars of fire by night to guide all men to Him." -Evan Roberts(1)

One of the first revival movements I ever heard of was the Welsh Revival of 1904-05. Wales has duly been called the "Land of Revival" and the "Land of Song." Griffith Jones, Howell Harris, Daniel Rowlands, William Williams, and Christmas Evans led earlier awakenings. The 1859 awakening was reported around the world. The land was set ablaze by the Moody-Sankey meetings in the late 19th Century.

In 1904 God again visited this small but significant locale. One of the earliest signs of a growing awakening came in the ministry of pastor Joseph Jenkins at New Quay, Cardiganshire. In November, 1903, he began a Young People's Meeting to battle their growing worldliness. Jenkins was visited by a shy young girl following an evening service in January, 1904. The following week, the first Sunday in February, Jenkins asked for testimonies during the Young People's Meeting following the morning service. Then, he asked for responses to the question, "What does Jesus mean to you?"

Her sincere, earnest confession had the effect of a lightning strike of the Spirit in the congregation. Person after person arose and made full surrender to Christ. An early eyewitness of the revival said: "It was the beginning of the visible manifestation of the Spirit breaking out in life-streams which afterwards would touch thousands of souls."(2) The news of the service spread throughout the area as young people testified in other churches.

Evan Roberts (1878-1951) was the person most recognized in the Welsh Revival. He came from a humble, religious family. As a child, the devout lad took a Bible with him everywhere. Early in his life, he dreamed of revival. While a young coal miner, a page of the Bible was scorched, the page at II Chronicles 6 where Solomon prayed for revival. Perhaps Evan saw this as prophetic, for when he became world-known, the Bible was displayed in photographs around the world.

Roberts heard an evangelist named Seth Joshua speak at Blaednnannerch. The Thursday morning service closed with Joshua praying, "Lord...Bend us." Roberts went to the front, knelt, and with great anguish cried, "Lord, bend me." Reflecting on that prayer, he later said that the impact of his commitment had this effect: "I felt ablaze with a desire to go through the length and breadth of Wales to tell of my Savior; and had that been possible, I was willing to pay God for doing so."(3)

Roberts began to go to various towns to speak of his changed life. "Oh, Syd," he said to his best friend, Sydney Evans, in late 1904, "We are going to see the mightiest revival that Wales has ever known - the Holy Spirit is coming just now." In great anticipation, he added, "We must get ready. We must get a little band and go all over the country preaching." Suddenly Roberts stopped, looked at Sydney, and said, "Do you believe that God can give us 100,000 now?"(4)

Within six months, 100,000 souls were converted in Wales.

Social impact was similarly reported. Judges were presented with white gloves signifying no cases to be tried. Alcoholism was halved. At times hundreds of people would stand to declare their surrender to Christ as Lord. Restitution was made, gamblers and others normally untouched by the ministry of the church came to Christ. In fact, esteemed G. Campbell Morgan recalled a conversation with a mine manager about profanity. The manager told him, "The haulers are some of the very lowest. They have driven their horses by obscenity and kicks. Now they can hardly persuade their horses to start working, because they have no obscenity and kicks."(5)

Do you long to see God move like that in our day? What if, one hundred years later, God so moved in our nation that hundreds of thousands of people, even millions, flooded the churches? If so, remember there is never great, widespread revival without personal revival. Do you seek a personal, deep, Spirit-led movement of God in your life? Then consider these aspects of personal revival taught by Evan Roberts, known as the Four Points:

  • You must put away any unconfessed sin.
  • You must put away any doubtful habit.
  • You must obey the Holy Spirit promptly.
  • You must confess Christ publicly.
  • May God raise up a generation of people with this passion.

Is The Lord With You Or Not, Be Careful.

Psa 81:7  Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

I proved thee at the waters of Meribah; by withholding water from them to try them, and see whether they would behave patiently, and put their trust and confidence in the Lord, or not; see Exo_17:4.

Exo 17:4  And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

what shall I do unto this people? or, "for this people" (h); to relieve them in their present exigency; suggesting his own inability to do any thing for them: yet not despairing of relief, but rather expressing faith in the power and goodness of God to keep them, by his application to him; desiring that he would open a way for their help, and direct him what he must do in this case for them: something, he intimates, must be done speedily for the glory of God, for his own safety, and to prevent the people sinning yet more and more, and so bring destruction upon them; for, adds he:

Exo 17:7  And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

A primitive root; to test; by implication to attempt: - adventure, assay, prove, tempt, try.

BDB Definition:
1) to test, try, prove, tempt, assay, put to the proof or test
1a) (Piel)
1a1) to test, try
1a2) to attempt, assay, try
1a3) to test, try, prove, tempt
Part of Speech: verb
A Related Word by BDB/Strong’s Number: a primitive root

Mat 4:7  Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

This is what Jesus said to Satan when He was tempted in the wilderness.

From G1537 and G3985; to test thoroughly: - tempt.

From G3984; to test (objectively), that is, endeavor, scrutinize, entice, discipline: - assay, examine, go about, prove, tempt (-er), try.

When in the flesh and a spirit of fear and unbelief, the spirit is not of, or from God, it is the devil and the flesh and is a grievous sin to tempt, try , test, the lord as we read in the O.T. event, they tested the lord by saying, is the lord with us or not?

How many times have we been guilty of saying that, OK Lord where are you, I really need some help, this can be done with a pure , hungry heart, and it is not sin, but to say OK you say your the Lord, where are you, I need you to show a sign, lets see you do this or that.

This of the flesh and the Devil, the Jews wanted a sign, Jesus said You will not have one, He already showed more than enough, so a sign will never satisfy, a fleece fulfilled sometimes even a confirmation on something, we must be satisfied knowing who the Lord is, He is the almighty, powerful, worthy, righteous Lord and as Heb 11:6 says
Those who come to the Lord, must believe that He is, and He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him

Many non believers say, how could a loving God allow all this, its a fact all this is because of Sin and the solution is faith, we do not have to see anything to believe, if we need anything aside from the Lords word in these days we are in big trouble. It defends against false doctrine, it is an anchor of Hope, it increases our faith as faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God.

We must settle in our hearts, The lord is in control and never tempt our Lord by saying are you with us or not, the answer is in the word.
I will never leave you or forsake you, so what else do we need, we have the lords word on it, if we need more than the Lords word on a matter we are in for a hard ride ahead, one of fear, unbelief, anxiousness, error, false teaching, anything to comfort the soul, even if its false, Peace, Peace these pillow prophets say and than sudden destruction.
False hope is never based on the Bible, it is always an out of season word, to everything there is a season Ecc.CH 3
We must know the season we are in, so we do not waist time on words that had relevance many, many years ago, when the Lord was still in mercy mode, and blessing us and many churches, great biblical revival was falling, all has changed and so, the word for today is the season we are in, is one of Judgment and our nation falling, so the word is the word, but we must understand the blessings we once saw and experienced will be gone for a while as the Lord tries us and not the other way around. This is a fact, and it is why we should, must stand on the word, know it, love it, read it, pray it, study it, all other ground is sinking sand, and only this is the rock. The Holy Pure Word Of The Lord.

A Short Message About Our Youth, And A Video From A Youth ,A Must Watch

The youth of our Nation have fallen from the lord, thanks to Churches, public schools and sin, T.V. and the net.
Once in a blue moon I come across something that truly inspires me, and gives me great hope, in the fact, those Youth that are The Lords can and should be different. The Lord will move to the young people I know it, they are the future. It is our duty as older Christians to encourage any en-devour we see in a young person and make it known, so we can all say Amen, there is hope.

Where Is The Fear Of The Lord?

Dear reader, we are under N.T. Grace, amen, the churches now days I feel take this for granite, everything is just grace, grace, grace. This message is true, but the word of the Lord is like a diamond, it has many facets, one faith, love, hope, mercy, conviction, fear, tears, joy and many others. We can not take only one part of this gospel diamond and make a true believer, nor can we make a doctrine and a church, like the word of faith churches have, yes faith is essential, we must have faith, and we must have it to please God, but that is all they teach and preach, thus it is a one sided diamond, and no more than a window, no reflection of the prism of the lords glory, no colors shine bright, no colors at all, no sparkle, just a looking glass, a reflection of self. In this day many Christian have simply lost the fear of God. They have not been taught it, or they do not understand it, or they are afraid of it.

Behold the goodness and severity of God,. a holy respect, a standing in awe, of His majesty, a humbling of self and a trembling before him. This is why we read in the N.T. work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, again the N.T. says, our Lord is a consuming fire. What happens even with we true believers is at time we take Gods grace and we do what we will, and think, all I have to do is repent, this is taking the grace of God in vain, and using our grace as a ticket to sin. It is all about balance, as I posted on, we can not walk around fear struck,or we would even fear to pray or approach the lord, we know when we sin, we are convicted, and Godly sorrow worketh repentance, how some of us need  a strong teaching of Godly sorrow, and not human sorrow, but the main reason to have the fear of the lord, is this so we will be like Jesus, we can not have the divine presence and glory of the lord, a face with no countenance, and think I will not even pray, I am to unworthy, I will not lift my hands or head in praise and pray as I am to weak, unworthy.  Many denominations practice this, and it is out of order, and produces spiritual death, no victory, no shout, no praise, no spiritual blessing, nothing but legalism, but biblical, proper fear is not understood, it has now been rejected as an out dated thing, may it never be so, come fear the Lord with me and we shall see wonderful things and be pleasing to our heavenly father, reader, let us never take sin lightly, and remember fear of the lord is strongly taught in the N.T.

It is very easy to be unbalanced between the fear of God and the grace of God, we must learn balance, it can not be all fear, nor just all I am Ok your Ok were under grace, many have no concept of a biblical, holy fear of the lord, may many of us re-learn this today, and we will never be the same. I posted a new sermon, came out today from sermon index a compilation, like wake up church this is longer  , but a must see, as we strive in the spirit and by the spirit to understand and live a life that is one of fearing the lord Biblical y.

The 4 Chariots Of Zechariah And It's Message To Us Today

I am posting my Oct 19 post today, this is a VERY long teaching, so it may take some time to read. As my banner says detailed teachings, if you have read my blog you know I have some real long ones, this message was given to me last night and so I post it now, a great teaching and a lot of info on the passage mentioned and a now, application to the believers

Zec 6:1 And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
Zec 6:2 In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
Zec 6:3 And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.
Zec 6:4 Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
Zec 6:5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

The white - Alexander, who was splendid in his victories, and mild towards all that he conquered.
The grisled - The Lagidae or Ptolemies, who founded an empire in Egypt; of these some were good, some bad, some despotic, some moderate, some cruel, and some mild, represented by the party-coloured horses.

Zec 6:1-8
The prophet is forward to receive this vision, and, as if he expected it, he turned and lifted up his eyes and looked. Though this was the seventh vision he had had, yet he did not think he had had enough; for the more we know of God and his will, if we know it aright, the more desirous we shall be to get a further acquaintance with God.

note revelation number 7 wild. the Jews were told 3 times in this book to flee Babylon and hear again .flee, 7, note Hebrew root word for the Bay horses, the second word the root seems fitting to the whole. Note; as Henry said the prophet looked up fully expecting another revelation, he was not guilty of the danger of a great experience amen, and it shows our expectation to know more, and hear more form our Lord, amen

He did not look long before he discovered that which was worth seeing, and which would serve very much for the encouraging of himself and his friends in this dark day.

Note; like now days, a word for self and the word for the remnant in the coming dark days, he did not have to wait long for it, full faith and expectation this prophet had. we must have the same spirit of faith, trust and expectation of a revelation of the lord, His word and his foretelling and direction, The direction in this book is flee. And the promise of restoration.

The second chariot with the black horses is the Persian monarchy, which went forth northward against the Babylonians, and quieted God's Spirit in the north country, by executing his judgments on Babylon and freeing the Jews from their captivity

The grizzled, the Romans, who conquered the Grecian empire, are said to go forth towards the south country, because Egypt, which lay southward, was the last branch of the Grecian empire that was subdued by the Romans.

The bay horses had been with the grizzled, but afterwards went forth by themselves; and by these they understand the Goths and Vandals, who with their victorious arms walked to and fro through the earth, or the Seleucidae and Lagidae, the two branches of the Grecian empire. Thus Grotius and others.

But I incline rather to understand this vision more generally, as designing to represent the administration of the kingdom of Providence in the government of this lower world. The angels are often called the chariots of God, as Psa_68:17; Psa_18:10. The various providences of God concerning nations and churches are represented by the different colours of horses, Rev_6:2, Rev_6:4, Rev_6:5, Rev_6:8

Now NOTE; we hear what is the truth the first part Henry is saying what others think this vision means and now it rings true to all today and in general.

And so we may observe here, 1. That the counsels and decrees of God are the spring and original of all events, and they are immovable, as mountains of brass. The chariots came from between the two mountains; for God performs the thing that is appointed for us: his appointments are the originals, and his performances are but copies from them; he does all according to the counsel of his will.

We could as soon grasp the mountains in our arms as comprehend the divine counsels in our finite understandings, and as soon remove mountains of brass as alter any of God's purposes; for he is in one mind, and who can turn him? Whatever the providences of God are concerning us, as to public or private affairs, we should see them all coming from between the mountains of brass, and therefore see it as much our folly to quarrel with them as it is our duty to acquiesce in them.

Who may say to God, What doest thou, or why doest thou so? Act_2:23; Act_4:28. 2. That God executes his decrees in the works of Providence, which are as chariots, in which he rides as a prince in an open chariot, to show his glory to the world, in which, as in chariots of war, he rides forth conquering and to conquer, and triumphing over all the enemies of his glory and government. God is great and terrible in his doings (Psa_66:3), and in them we see the goings of our God, our King, Psa_68:24. His providences move swiftly and strongly as chariots, but all directed and governed by his infinite wisdom and sovereign will, as chariots by their drivers.

Nothing can come to us that the Lord has not called forth or gave the Ok too. The lord is not double minded, He alone knows what is good for us, and He will have his way and so why kick against the pricks as Paul did? The word of the Lord, His will shall be accomplished no matter what we think, want, desire or even pray for. The answer sometimes is No, and other times Yes, we also see from this the Lords swiftness in His actions, and power. It may seem our long awaited prayers, requests are held off, but at other times the lord allows the sudden-lies to take place, at both times He is swift and always going before us, even when we see nothing and feel nothing. The Lord is strong and active, we can not grasp this when we gauge all on our human time clocks, but we may rest assure, in the Lords timing all will be accomplished that he has set out to do and with us, all will be known in His time.

they are the horses that draw the chariots, great in power and might, and who, like the horse that God himself describes (Job_39:19, etc.), are clothed with thunder, are terrible, but cannot be terrified nor made afraid; they are chariots of fire, and horses of fire, to carry one prophet to heaven and guard another on earth. They are as observant of and obsequious to the will of God as well-managed horses are to their rider or driver. Not that God needs them or their services, but he is pleased to make use of them, that he may put honor upon them, and encourage our trust in his providence

These horses, chariots of fire the holy angels are still in the N.T. used. We do not see them, as Elisha s servant did not, but when the prophets servant saw the great army around them, the prophet said, and it rings true for us today dear saint, there are more with us than there are with them, open his eyes that he may see, and the servant saw the chariots of fire all around the mountains, we need spiritual eyes to see, and a spiritual knowing, this is real, our natural eyes may never see them, but these chariots of Fire and serving angels are all around us, in a different dimension, they are there and we need never fear, not that they are needed as Henry says but the Lord uses them for his purpose, will and glory, it is not angels we rely on nor pray to, but the Lord almighty , these angels are real, they are hear and we are to have faith in God, not man, not angels, but our sovereign Lord.

Hebrew 11:1 Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We are more blessed Jesus said ,as he showed himself to doubting Thomas, the Lord said, blessed are you Thomas for you have seen, but I tell you those who do not see and believe are more blessed, as I posted in a teaching, not seeing is believing. It is all about faith in the unseen.

. That the events of Providence have different aspects and the face of the times often changes. The horses in the first chariot were red, signifying war and bloodshed, blood to the horse-bridles, Rev_14:20. Those in the second chariot were black, signifying the dismal melancholy consequences of war; it puts all into mourning, lays all waste, introduces famines, and pestilences, and desolations, and makes whole lands to languish. Those in the third chariot were white, signifying the return of comfort, and peace, and prosperity, after these dark and dismal times: though God cause grief to the children of men, yet will he have compassion. Those in the fourth chariot were of a mixed colour, grizzled and bay; some speckled and spotted, and ash-coloured, signifying events of different complexions interwoven and counter-changed, a day of prosperity and a day of adversity set the one over-against the other. The cup of Providence in the hand of the Lord isfull of mixture, Psa_75:8. 5. That all the instruments of Providence, and all the events of it, come from God, and from him they receive their commissions and instructions (Zec_6:5):

To everything there is a season, this commentary by Henry brings out the fact of Judgments, trial, famine, war, and in their given season, but also of great hope is the time after of restoration. I said before the reason the Lord chastens us , is so we will obey and he can return to us and bless us after we are corrected by his divine rod, we are not always under the rod, our nation is now, and the church, but the lord hopes these will repent and return, than the season will change to one of blessing again and not darkness and times of tribulation.

. Those secret motions and impulses upon the spirits of men by which the designs of Providence are carried on, some think, are these four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from God and fulfill what he appoints, who is the God of the spirits of all flesh.

This is a profound saying and all true, the lord directs us many times by our inner voice, the holy spirit, by circumstances, by closing a door and opening yet another. Henry uses the words secret motions and impulses, these secret motions and our impulses are not to be driven by fear, nor taken lightly, we know when we know something and we have an inner peace when we know we are in the right place, making right decisions and a knowing is from the lord, he speaks by his word and spirit and the inner witness, many times these impulses are confirmed by 2 or 3 others, and it should be. Impulses can be a blessing and a secret motion of the lord directing and moving in our hearts towards His perfect will for us. Impulses of the flesh are quite different, they can deceive and make us in ruin, this is why we must cry out to the Lord for His will and way and not ours, as calmness lays great errors to rest, if you have no peace about a matter that is a sure sign that the divine impulse is coming from the flesh and not the spirit.

People often ask, how do I know about something, a thing, direction, if its of the Lord, I have learned if after prayer and a decision, if there is a true holy inner peace that is the witness of the Holy Spirit, and I have found this way of confirmation guidance to always be of the lord. If your confused, in doubt, have no peace, it usually means your thinking, planning , doing the wrong thing, discernment is needed as sometimes the Devil can cause confusion to block out the inner peace and keep us in alarm, but in the end and in time the inner peace will not be hindered as our Lord will not allow it to continue, we will know, can know, what we are to do and not do, by this divine inner witness of Peace. Note Peace is not a gift of the spirit it is a fruit .

The black horses went forth, carrying with them very dark and melancholy events, such as made every person and every thing look black; but presently the white went forth after them, carrying joy to those that mourned, and, by a new turn given to affairs, making them to look pleasant again. Such are God's dealings with his church and people: if the black horses go forth, the white ones presently go after them; for as affliction abounds consolation much more abounds.

All I can say to this is I covered it and amen and amen.

If we go to and fro through the earth, we shall find the events of Providence neither all black nor all white, but ash-coloured, or gray, mixed of black and white. Such is the world we live in; that before us is unmixed. Here we are singing, at the same time, of mercy and judgment, and we must sing unto God of both (Psa_101:1)

If that does not make you shout I do not what will, check your pulse. Singing in mercy and in judgment, at all times, in all circumstances, we praise the lord and pray unceasingly, at all times, Our Lord is so good, the remnant will have a new song a new praise that will be old in reality, back to the book of Acts, back to the orthodox N.T. Restoration, and all will seem new, we can shout, pray, sing even when judgment falls, as we are not appointed unto wrath, in these times his people can have uninterrupted communion and worship, as the lord at the same time is judging the very people and place we are at, we must flee Babylon, spiritually that is. and flee now to the divine presence of our King, praise is comely to the upright, may it be so today and in the days ahead.

Unity At What Cost, Church doctrine Division And Why We Need Them

1Co 11:19 For there must be also factions among you, that they that are approved may be made manifest among you.

This is an odd verse at first reading. What Paul was telling the Church in Corinth, the overly neo-charismatic church filled with sin and false doctrine. We need the false to be heard and seen, so the truth will stand out and prove to be right. The word factions is meaning hear, a division of those in bible truth, and those that are not. We read in many verses the church is to be of one mind, one spirit, one faith, one doctrine, in love with unity. This is one of the only Times Paul says this word, and its for a reason, one must know about the church of Corinthians, just read it and see, also the history of the place, why certain strange pagan practices were going on, and the historic fact the church in Corinth , soon failed and ended up not even being a church, it disappeared. The problems rose up again, crazy out of order manifestations , while they were in perverse sin.

Jesus said concerning the wheat and tares, that they were not to be touched, allowed to grow together, this is what Paul is saying, and so Jesus says due to the fact, the tares are at the harvest taken out and burned, this also is a rapture truth, not the wheat, the tares are first collected and burned at the consummation of the age, wild.
So we actually need the false teachers, so these that are not false teachers will come to light.
When it all hits the fan, I blogged on this, and the word of Faith and rapture church minded camp are woken up, it is then, the ones who preach and teach true bible doctrine and not man made doctrine will in the end be clearly seen as the ones who spoke truth, and for and to the total glory of our Lord.

Over my 32 years of ministry and in many, many churches and denominations as an evangelist, I can not tell you how many of them had divisions , to date, every single one, many time over small matters, power struggles, people in rebellion, etc. many Churches, most actually, as I have learned were planted, and started due to a split in another church, this is always the case, and its sad, if it was for the wrong reason

We see in History, and in these days if it is due to an apostate, dead, church, that preaches false doctrine or is only into a popularity man pleasing contest, one should leave, run as I have said run, that is a justified position.
I was a Methodist minister I had to leave the denomination because they were becoming apostate, gays in leadership, our offerings funding abortions, and a total lack of holiness. Many other serious offenses, and so I had to leave, and I should have.
I have personal friends who were also Methodist ministers, most had to leave as well. Division is needed for the right reason, and that reason is truth. All we hear about is unity, but unity at what cost? It is all ecumenical now, leading to the one world church, no stopping that. I am not, nor ever have been ecumenical, and never will be. There are true born again Christians even in the Catholic Church, but they have not left, Greek orthodox, Lutherans, word of faith, but this does not mean I or anyone should participate in this unity JN 17 movement as it was called in the 70's and 80's and was to become in unity with the Catholic church, never. I will see Catholics who are saved by grace in heaven, and in heaven it will be all races and all Christian denominations, an ecumenical oneness in heaven, then and not before.

We have all heard preachers say their denomination is the only true way, most denominations believe this even if they do not say it, wake up and smell the coffee, Jesus is the way not man, not a denomination, only our Lord.
He seeks those to worship him in spirit and truth, many worship him is spirit, but not truth, and others worship only in legalistic truth and no spirit, so we must have balance. We are not to be dead, lifeless, legalistic, that only preach a spitting message of fire, and argue, fight and all in the name of being the only truth church or denomination, nor are we to just have unity with all and to heck with the truth as we lift up our hands in praise. The spirit-truth and Mercy-Truth balance is a must. The problem with the Corinthian church is they had no balance only extremes, and the man of God avoids all extremes.

I remember back in the mid 80's when the Assemblies of God, started to die, many saw it coming, there are a few good AoG churches in America, but most are now into the post modernism , emerging church movement. I remember when this was first starting, I would see various AoG churches say on their sign, worship and balance, sounded good and true, but this was the start of the falling away, as all these AoG churches who used that tag line were 100% dead. My point, it indeed was not balanced as they quenched the spirit, they had become Baptist ,dead. Not all baptist are dead, 99.9% are, sorry but true, dead, dead, dead, one must be filled with the spirit to have life, fact, and all have that choice to make, be dead or alive. The holy spirit is a gentlemen he does not invade and only comes in when invited.

We need true balance of Spirit and truth, the spirit is the convector, comforter, teacher and our groaning partner and intercessor that prays the will of the lord, because we do not know how to, read Rom ch 8 its there.

So, understand these false teachers, false doctrines, dead apostate churches must be, and will only get worse as we get closer to the GREAT falling away. This is why most people meet in micro churches as I also already taught on, its the number 1 movement in true christian circles, and so be it. Be in truth beloved, but have passion, a powerful prayer life, lively praise and worship and in the end the tares will be collected and the wheat taken to heaven, until than, all we can do is gently correct those who oppose themselves to be sound in the faith as Paul told Timothy.

We Have No Promise That Our Life On Earth Will Be Easy, But Our Eternity Is Another Matter

I was reading and praying today, I was having one of those days, problems, trials, you name it. I wrote a song that talks about our SOMTIMES, we have have them, but the Lord is faithful to renew us and see us through these sometimes we all have.
Life is short and we must make the most of it, We must seek the Lord even in the sometimes. There is a story Jesus taught about Lazararus and the rich man Lk 16:19-31

Luk 16:19  There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Luk 16:20  And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luk 16:21  And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luk 16:22  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luk 16:23  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luk 16:24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luk 16:25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luk 16:26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luk 16:27  Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luk 16:28  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luk 16:29  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luk 16:30  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luk 16:31  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

As I read This the Lord brought to my attention about the poor man, I mean were talking about one who lived their whole life in poverty, as a beggar and had sores, ulcerations on top of it (A physical affliction)
I was taught a few things, what may seem a tragedy  in our life's can be nothing compared to someone else's problems, we all have heard the proverb, " I used to complain about having no shoes, until I saw a man with no feet. I have feet, I have shoes, and yet dry spells come, hard times come. My life has been one of mostly poverty,( by choice for the ministry). I have family who are literal millionaires, yet they do not know Jesus Christ. I have always been the black sheep, as many of you have, the Lord came for such ones, and calls us.

I have others in my family who are very, very well off, with all that's coming they will suffer the most as they lose all they have.I have nothing to lose and everything to gain as all believers do.We are just pilgrims in this world, this is not home.Reader, we are not of this world.

I thought, today I still have food, today I still have all my bills paid, today I am Ok, so, as David said, "Oh my soul why art thou so downcast within me, hope thou yet in the Lord".

This is the day the Lord has made , I will rejoice in it, the lord has made every day, the cloudy ones, the sunny ones, the rain, the snow, the heat, all of it, every day is the day of the lord. I was exhorted by the Lord to be full of Joy, as I said I am in a situation, where we just lost the only Job, only income we had, and we pray, have hope, and the days go by fast as bills will need to be paid, how? the lord knows, I  do not , but he does. I am not the only household that has lost a house a job an income, we are in hard times.

Many reading this are poor due to the economy, so be it, this is the day the Lord has made, no matter what we face in the early AM. I pondered about the poor man, he must have been laughed at, scorned, kicked around , verbally tormented , humiliated he had to beg for food, and clothes in rags, his visible sores I am sure would not have made matters any better , and were painful. Many of us may show a smile when we are out side, but when we are alone, the tears fall, this is a work of the Lord, look at the reward the poor man , who had more than a bad day, or a sometime, but a life of poverty, It ended and he was in glory, the rich man who had it all, was in hell, a literal hell. He had his luxury on earth, what is a few years of poverty, or suffering? Paul said These momentary and light afflictions can not even be compared to the eternal weight of glory that awaits me, we must have this heavenly perspective, live for the lord no matter what, and our reward will be like this poor beggar, eternal joy, happiness, and in glory , amen.

Remember dear reader, we are just passing through this life, it is what we do with it, that will determin where we spend eternity.

Next time, maybe today, if you have one of those days, one of those sometimes, remember this story Jesus taught and let it put your thinking and spirit in the right prospective.

I just uploaded this video today, it is a contemporary song, upbeat, but says a lot. I hope this message today and the song gives you hope, as in the song it says.
Every hair on your head, every prayer that you said, he is our living bread be at peace when your in the red,
All your sometimes are in Gods hands, like a child play in the sand

The Only Thing We Will Do In Heaven That We Do Now On Earth Is Sing And Praise

We try and do so much at time, I was thinking what will I do when I get to heaven, what will we all be doing, and reading Revelations we read a big clue we will be praising and worshiping the Lord. No Gifts, preaching, no soul winning, no helping the poor, the hurting, no pray chains, we will simply be serving our Lord and a lot of it will be in praise and worship. It is a joy for me to have been in music and a musical person my whole life, I hate to play or sing live, I hate it, I can preach and feel great, but sitting by myself at a piano or a guitar and it takes a while for me to stopping inward trembling. I do a song or two every time I preach out, mostly to a CD track of a song I wrote and I am OK with that, sort of, funny when I am with a duo a trio or esp a band no fear, but solo, wow talk about freaking out inside, I hide it well after all these years. I would say I do not like to sing live , its funny the lord always uses me in that area, praise and worship, not a lot of the contemporary stuff I have been putting out, also I learned long ago, like with King David, when I am all alone, in the candle light and softly picking on an acoustic guitar the spirit of prophecy comes on me, this was a must in the O.T, need a word, get the mistrial, why, there is something about music, that even can sooth a demonized man like King Saul, peace. It s unexplainable after all these years in music I sill can not explain , I struggle even now, something just happens.

his is why if your preaching in a church and he praise music is powerful than he preaching flows much better as a praise foundation has been set up. I have preached in some dead churches that sang a few out of tune hymns and wow, its not easy getting up there, its almost a quenching, I understand we are heading back to those days, just voices and acoustic instruments, simple N.T. praise, but that will be different, it will be done with a brokenness and a humility, and a anointing, that a 20 piece band can not come up with. It is not so much the music, its the anointing that breaks the yoke. So saying all this, I re arranged one of my stations on sound click to re- post on hear, not so heavy, more worship, think about this post, concentrate on the lord, forget about yourself, your problems and let your time on this post today become an act of worship, listen to a few songs and just think on what I said , it is what we will be doing in heaven, so why not start today and make this simple post your reading, your time of praise and worship today..

These are friends of mine from sound click, you will not find the CD's in a music store, all independent and all anointed, listen to some music, most if not all of you, have never heard before and close your eyes , take a deep breath and just love the Lord, thank Him for his mercy, grace, love and joy in your salvation. I know many are going through very hard times these days, I am too, but just take time to thank the Lord in full joy for your salvation. In our salvation the word says be full of joy, no better thing than to have joy today, if all you have is your salvation, were talking eternal life beloved,  these light and momentary afflictions , can not be compared to the eternal weight of Glory (heaven ) that is waiting for us, your mansion is being built, amen and amen

Note if the music distracts you just hit the stop button, but I hope all will take a little time and practice what you will be doing in heaven today.

Sacred Name Theology, The Fast Growing False Doctrine On the Net, Exposed

Sacred Name Movement
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article is about the Adventist movement. See sacred name for the theological term.

The Sacred Name Movement (SNM) is a movement within Adventism in Christianity, propagated by Clarence Orvil Dodd from the 1930s, that claims to seek to conform Christianity to its "Hebrew Roots" in practice, belief and worship. The best known distinction of the SNM is its advocacy of the use of the "sacred name" Yahweh (יַהְוֶה), i.e. the reconstructed proper name of the God of Israel, and the use of the original Hebrew name of Jesus, often transcribed as Yahshua.[1] SNM believers also generally keep many of the Old Testament laws and ceremonies such as the Seventh-day Sabbath, Torah festivals and keeping kosher food laws, but the Assemblies of Yahweh (Bethel Pa) has always criticized the Movement sharply because of their "disorganization and confusion" over doctrine.

Note: in order to see if a doctrine has any truth, one must look to where it came from, who started it and see if it is in the word of God. Note a man had this sacred name theology given by an angel, and Joseph smith like, the Mormons, need I say more also you will see its roots are of the 7th day Adventist and from cult teachings, so before I get any hate mail it is my job to teach and preach the whole counsel of God, I do not care if you like me, I am bound to do what I do, I am not anti-Semitic, the Jew is first and they are the chosen race and holy people that will one day be restored and saved by the blood of Jesus Our Lord, so read all this long article and do your own research before you take any thing I say the wrong way, or misinterpret the historical facts and esp. the roots of this false doctrine invading the web and churches.

As you will read there are many levels to this false doctrine, so all are not guilty and ext-ream, this is just the facts of the doctrine and why we must know what is what, I see so many people into this movement and it grows everyday.

The Sacred Name Movement arose in the early 20th century out of the Adventist movement.[2] C. O. Dodd, a member of the Church of God (Seventh Day), began keeping the Jewish festivals (including Passover) in 1928 and adopted sacred name doctrines in the late 1930s.

The Movement started with the formation of the Assembly of Yahweh in Holt, Michigan, USA in the early 1930s. The leaders of this group claim that a founding member was visited by two angels who explained that The Messiah's Name is properly Yahshua. This
occurred around the time that interest in the subject was keen.

It can be argued that all the above groups are a "Sacred Name group", as they all have ties to the original "Assembly of Yahweh" and have almost identical doctrines. Because there is no formal enrollment to be a "Sacred Name group," the term is loosely defined. Many people include groups that use variations of "Yahweh" and "Yahshua", but teach very different doctrines than the above groups, to be "in the movement"

Sacred Name Pentecostals

Since the 1970s, the Sacred Name Movement has penetrated many among the Pentecostal denomination (especially those with a Oneness Pentecostal background). The House of God, a seventh-day Pentecostal organization started back in 1919 by RAR Johnson, has become inundated with certain sacred name doctrines. An independent Pentecostal body that is exclusively sacred name is Apostolic Houses of Yahweh presided over by Apostle William Greggs.

There are other notable Pentecostal organizations that are adamant about using the sacred names such as Victorious Covenant Community, Straitway and Assemblies of Messiah in the Apostles' Doctrine.

The Sacred Name Movement has few adherents and includes the following groups:

Assembly of Yahweh (Michigan)
Yahweh's Restoration Ministry (Missouri)
Assembly of Yahweh 7th Day (Texas).
Yahweh's Assembly in Messiah (Missouri)
Assemblies of Yahweh (Pennsylvania)
Yahweh's Frystown Assembly (Pennsylvania)
Assemblies of Messiah in the Apostles' Doctrine (Virginia)

Mark 7:13. Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition (putting the Talmud on an equal basis), which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Paul (a Jewish believer from the strictive of the Jewish sects) made it clear ... you can't have one and the other, as the new has cancelled out the old:

Heb. 8:13. In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

Gal. 1:6-7. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Paul clarified it was the Jewish religion he was saved from, that was responsible for this falling away in his day, and was warning the Gentile Galatian Believers not to be entangled with it:

Gal. 1: 13-14 . For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

Read Acts 15: 5-24 and you will see the church made a distinction between the old and the new with this final conclusion:

Acts 15:24. Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Although advocates today of the HRM are not making circumcision a major requirement as in the first century, other aspects of the Old Covenant along with Jewish traditions are being imposed on bible believers to embrace as being part of God restoring the true faith in these end times. A major shift in embraced theology has been the acceptance of the Jewish name replacement for Jesus Christ.

Which name:

Mal. 1:11. For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense [prayer/worship] shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering [spirit and in truth]: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts.

Whose name do we call out to when we want to be saved? In whose name are we sent? In whose name do we pray, preach, teach, and exercise divine authority?

Is it ... Jeshua, Yeshua, Yeshuah, Yehshua, Yehshuah, YESHUA, YESHUAH, YEHSHUA, YEHSHUAH, Yeshouah, Y'shua, Y'shuah, Jeshu, Yeshu, Yehoshua, Yehoshuah, YHVHShua, YHVHShuah, Yhvhshua, Yhwhshua, YHWHShua, YHWHShuah, Yhvhshuah, Yhwhshuah, Yahvehshua, Yahwehshua, Yahvehshuah, Yahwehshuah, Jahshua, Jahshuah, Jashua, Jashuah, Jahoshua, Jahoshuah, Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Yashua, Yashuah, Yahshua, Yahshuah, YAHSHUA, YAHSHUAH, YASHUA, YASHUAH, Yahushua, Yahushuah, Yahoshua, Yahoshuah, Yaohushua, YAOHUSHUA, Yaohushuah, Iahoshua, Iahoshuah, Iahushua, or Iahushuah??

Matt. 28: 18-19. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost ...

What name have believers been commanded to teach and baptize in? ... The same Person whom all power in heaven and earth was given to ... a Jewish man named JESUS! In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is the name of Jesus which is Christ, God's anointed one who came in the flesh.

Proof? ... Then go to the Book of Acts (where the words of Jesus were being demonstrated by the apostles and early church) and you will see every baptism of the true Way was done in the name of Jesus, as was all the preaching, teaching, deliverances, healings and miracles.

Deut. 28:10. And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee

The Cult's pagan connection:

Jer. 23:27: "Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal."

If God's word has been lost (or forgotten) then it can be justified that His Name has been lost (or forgotten) also. And it would take so-called knowledgeable men who could put us right, so the notion goes.

However, because God has given us His Book, with every scripture given by Divine inspiration, we only need to go to His Book to find the Name which is above every other name, the only name by which men can be saved. The cult of Yah have got it wrong because it's roots are not Jewish at all in the scriptural sense, but pagan, and behind the scenes it's Masonic mystics have infiltrated Christendom (as it did with Jewish teachings through the Cabbala) leading people into spiritual captivity.

Following is an excerpt from "Christianity, Masonry not compatible. Definitions of God pose fundamental difference."

Jude 1:4. For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

Through this Masonic / Cabbala infiltration Jehovah becomes Yahweh. Jesus becomes Yashua. Hence, God is now G-d being referred to as Yah or Jah which broadens the name and isolates God from Jesus Christ who came in the flesh. This suits the mystics, the secret societies, the covens, along with the ecumenicals (who like rallying names) and trendy new agers; making Christianity both contemporary and acceptable.

This comes from the leader a women of the 7th day Adventist that Sunday is the mark of the beast and is Sunday worship, and not a literal mark or chip, the revised world wide church Of God , started by Armstrong, after this was the only known cult that repented and forsook their apostasy and on Hank Hanagraff, (not a fan of him,) the story broke, the world wide Church of God became truly christian and some still are, but now we have the same apostate doctrine all over the new called the revised world wide church of God teaching the same false 7th day Adventist doctrines as the sacred name theology adheres to. Now, not all in the sacred name theology circles are as radical as others, some have gone to the extremes and many books written to propagate this false doctrine, it s another Gospel,

Paul said let him be accursed that teaches and preaches another gospel other than the one we have taught, even if an angle from heaven declares it (note paraphrased from the Greek) same as Joseph smith and the Mormons , this doctrine was given by an angel, and we know it was the devil who comes as an angel of light and proclaims false doctrine.

Masons commonly refer to their deity as the "Great Architect of the Universe" (G.A.O.T.U.) or the Supreme Being. God is further described as Grand Artificer, Grand Master of the Grand Lodge Above, Jehovah, Allah, Buddha, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, or Great Geometer. (The "G" in the Masonic ring can refer to God; it can also refer to geometry.) Masons claim that the actual name for God has been lost. [HJB] (emphasis mine)

Isaiah 43:10: "Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me."

God's inspired word the AV/KJB presents JEHOVAH as the all great I AM, the stand alone God who saith I AM THAT I AM. In His Book there is no room for any other god/deity where the New testament presents JESUS only as the great I AM:

John 18:6: "As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground."

Confirming and declaring Jesus' invested power and authority as God in the flesh:

2 John 1:7: "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."

The Apostle John (a Jewish believer) warned those who deny Jesus is the only Christ and that He came once and for all in the flesh have embraced the spirit of antichrist. Every true Bible believer, in the strictest Masonic view, is therefore hated and despised as a divisive sectarianist. He who believes Jesus alone is classed a bigot and extremist. Other lukewarm believers who are not adamant in this view will largely escape persecution.

Just as these mystery schools of Jewish occultism have infiltrated Judaism so have these secret societies infiltrated western fraternities, softening them up for the new pseudo "sacred" name.

I am not accusing all advocates of the HRM as cabbalists or occultists. Our intention is exposing both the sources of the Root teachings and the promotion of the "sacred" Yah/Jah name cult.

Which God do we serve:

Is it ... YHVH, YHWH, Yahweh, Yah, Yahveh, Yaveh, Yaweh, Jehova, Jehovah, Jahova, Jahovah, Yahova, Yahovah, Jahowa, Jahowah, Yahavah, Jahavah, Yahowe, Yahoweh, Jahaveh, Jahaweh, Jah, Yahaveh, Yahaweh, Jahuweh, Yahuweh, Iahueh, Jahuwah, Yahuwah, Yah, Jah, Yahu, Jahu, Yahvah, Jahvah, Jahve, Jahveh, Yahve, Yahwe???

An open-ended scrambled deity based on esoterical interpretation?

Or the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The God of Israel, David and the prophets. The God of Paul, Peter, James and the church of God. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1 John 5:20: "... that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life."

Discerning the right Root:

Rom. 11:16-18: "For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee."

One of the main reasons for the HRM to have had so much sway in Christendom has been due to the misconception of Romans chapter eleven. This has been because of a misinterpretation of the olive tree in relation to Abraham's seed, along with a wrong interpretation of the tree's roots.

Abraham is our father according to the faith not the flesh. He is our father according to the promise not circumcision, tithing, sabbath keeping, or any other law observance. The olive tree we are grafted into is not natural Israel of the flesh (the present political / geographical regime) but the spiritual tree.

The Jewish people have been cut off for rejecting their Messiah, and the Gentile believers have been grafted in. However, this is not an excuse for Gentle believers to be cocky as Jews are being grafted in again as they too find Jesus as Messiah. This way we can all enjoy the benefits and nourishment of the tree together, as one new man.

Now for the crunch!! ... The root of the tree is not Jewishness at all, but Jesus:

Rev. 5:5. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda (of the Jews), the Root of David (the line going back to Abraham), hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Rev. 22:16. I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

The false teachings of the HRM say we need to get back to the Jewish root/s to literally understand the N.T. scripture. Not so ...

...if the root be holy, so are the branches.

Heb 9: 9-12. Which was a figure (the Old Covenant) for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Eph. 2:15. Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain (Jew and Gentile) one new man, so making peace ...

Col. .2:14. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us (the law was our teacher pointing us to Christ), which was contrary to us (to our nature), and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross ...

The Old is dead! It is a white elephant! ... Nor can it be resurrected, reformed, taken out of moth balls, or stitched up:

Mark 2:21. No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

Why point importance on the old ... our past, our culture, our traditions, when there is so much at stake? A Jewish apostle called Paul saw his Jewish past as loss for Christ ... as dung, that I may win Christ.

When the Old Covenant was brought to an end, it was completely and absolutely once and for all replaced by the New. The New wasn't simply a purification of the Old one. Nor was it a rehash. When scripture says new, it means brand spanking new. Being in Christ means we have a new heart, a new start, a new life, a new hope, as ... all things become new. Even the geography becomes new ... a new house, a new sanctuary, a new city, a new country. This world (with its various races, nations, beliefs, politics and cultures) is not our home ... we're only passing through! Why put importance on the present! Jesus, our root, our rock, is coming back very soon ...

... for those who are rooted and grounded in Him!!

The Mishnah is the early Talmud or the forerunner of the Talmud. To the Mishnah the rabbis later added the
Gemara (rabbinical commentaries). Together these comprise the Talmud. Scholars will claim that the Talmud
is partly a collection of oral traditions given by Moses which had not yet been written down in Jesus' time.
However, Christ condemned the traditions of the Mishnah (early Talmud) and the Scribes and Pharisees who
taught it, because their oral traditions contradicted the teachings of Scripture. The dire warning of Jesus Christ regarding the traditions of men which make null and void the Word of God (Mark 7:1-13) seems to be a
reference to the Mishnah, which was later compiled (c. 200 A.D.) by Rabbi Judah ben Simeon, who presided
over Judaism's supreme judiciary and legislative body, the Sanhedrin.

"Mishnah can refer in a general way to the full tradition of the Oral Torah, as formulated by
the Rabbis in the first centuries of the Common Era. These traditions could not be written down,
but had to be transmitted and learned by word of mouth. This restriction was observed quite
scrupulously throughout the eras of the Mishnah and Talmud.
"The Jewish sages whose statements are quoted in the Mishnah are known as Tanna'im*
(singular: 'Tanna'), derived from the Aramaic root related to the Hebrew 'ShNH.' The era in which
the Mishnah was developed is therefore referred to as the 'Tanna'itic' era."

Who are the Tanna'im?

The Jewish sages referred to as Tanna'im are, in fact, the high initiates of Kabbalah. THE
THEOSOPHICAL GLOSSARY of Mme. H.P. Blavatsky shows the correlation between Tanaim and

"TANAIM (Heb.). Jewish Initiates, very learned Kabbalists in ancient times. The Talmud
contains sundry legends about them and gives the chief names of them."

"KABALIST. From Q B L H, Kabalah, an unwritten or oral tradition. The kabalist is a
student of 'secret science,' one who interprets hidden meaning of the Scriptures with the help of
the symbolical Kabala, and explains the real one by these means. The TANAIM were the first
kabalists among the Jews; they appeared at Jerusalem about the beginning of the third century
before the Christian Era... This secret doctrine is identical with that of the Chaldeans, and
includes at the same time much of the Persian wisdom, or 'magic'." (caps added)

"KABALAH (Heb.) The hidden wisdom of the Hebrew Rabbis of the middle ages derived
from the secret doctrines concerning divine things and cosmogony, which were combined into a
theology after the time of the captivity of the Jews in Babylon. All the works that fall under the
esoteric category are termed Kabbalistic..."

There appears to be disagreement as to when the oral traditions took on a written form. However, Dr. Segal
confirms that the Mishnah was developed and disseminated from a fixed body of teaching that originated in
ancient Babylon (Chaldea):

--this redaction did
not involve writing down the traditions, but merely the determining and organizing of a fixed text
that was subsequently disseminated by memory. It is clear from the internal evidence of the
Talmud that the teachings of the Rabbis continued to be studied orally throughout the Talmudic
era, and this continued to be the practice in the Babylonian academies well into the middle ages...
"Rabbi Judah ben Simeon bore the Hebrew title of 'Nasi,' signifying the position of Patriarch,
the official political representative of the Jewish people. From an internal Jewish perspective, the
Nasi presided over Judaism's supreme judiciary and legislative body, the Sanhedrin. The title had
become a hereditary one, almost without interruption, since the days of the revered Hillel the
Elder in the first century B.C.E."

The Babylonian Talmud is a commentary on the Mishnah composed by Babylonian Jewish sages (Ravs) from
the early third to the sixth century. A Jewish sage who was from Babylonia would have been addressed by the
title, 'Rav,' while one who lived in Israel would have been called 'Rabbi.' One portion of the Talmud dealt with
folklore, especially magical and medical recipes. The following statement, from TORAH TO KABBALAH by
R.C. Musaph-Andriesse, on the primacy of the Babylonian Talmud (T.B.) is representative of Jewish

There are two editions of the Talmud, the Jerusalem Talmud and the Babylonian Talmud.
Of these two, the Babylonian Talmud is authoritative for Orthodox Judaism, which regards it as
divinely inspired... The superiority of the Babylonian Talmud is so great, that when people now
talk about the Talmud, they always mean the Babylonian Talmud. The authority of the Babylonian
Talmud is also greater than that of the Jerusalem Talmud. In cases of doubt the former is
decisive" (pg. 40, New York, Oxford University, Press, 1982).

Quoting Joseph Barclay in SECRET SOCITIES & SUBVERSIVE MOVEMENTS, Nesta Webster has
exposed the virulent anti-Christ teachings of the Talmud:

So also it was the Rabbis who, after hiding from the people the meaning of the sacred
tradition at the moment of its fulfillment, afterwards poisoned that same stream for future
generations. Abominable calumnies on Christ and Christianity are found not only in the Cabala but
in the earlier editions of the Talmud. In these, says Barclay -- "Our Lord and Saviour is 'that's
one', 'such an one', 'a fool', 'the leper,' 'The deceiver of Israel,' etc. Efforts are made to prove that
he is the son of Joseph Pandira before his marriage with Mary. His miracles are attributed to
sorcery, the secret of which He brought in a slit in His flesh out of Egypt. He is said to have been
first stoned and then hanged on the eve of the Passover. His disciples are called heretics and
opprobrious names. They are accused of immoral practices, and the New Testament is called a
sinful book. The references to these subjects manifest the most bitter aversion and hatred"
[Joseph Barclay, The Talmud, pp.38, 39; cf Drach, op. cit I.167] (Omni Publications, 1964, p.18-19).

The Babylonian Talmud now mostly used is the largest volume of hate religion ever wrote and is all mystical, you will find in it's many volumes things like a priest can have sex with a young girl as long as she is 3 years old or younger and its OK and not adultery, also a Goyim (gentile) is lower than an animal and lower than any living thing, so a Jew could rape, kill, rob a goyim gentile and it is not sin, this is all true, you can obtain the whole Babylonian Talmud on line free, just Google it, be warned you will be shocked and it is many volumes, you can do web search to save time on some of the quotes from this work and have your mind blown.

Nesta Webster's SECRET SOCIETIES adds:

"... the Jewish Encyclopedia admits that Jewish legends concerning Jesus are found in the
Talmud and Midrash and in the life of Jesus (Toledot Yeshu) that originated in the Middle Ages. It
is the tendency of all these sources to belittle the person of Jesus by ascribing to Him illegitimate
birth, magic, and a shameful death. " [Jewish Encyclopedia, article on Jesus]

The Midrash and midrashic interpretation tend to devalue the literal, historical interpretation of Scripture in
favor of private, hidden and even mystical interpretations. For example, Rabbi Scheinerman's Magical
Midrash page states:

"Midrash is subversive as it winds its way between and around stern, stark, seemingly stagnant
texts. As Judith Plaskow has stated, 'Jews have traditionally used midrash to broaden or alter the
meaning of texts' (in Davidman/Tenenbaum, 80). Midrash assumes that the black letters of
scripture as well as the white spaces between them are holy; that the explicitly stated as well as
that which can be inferred from the Bible can be manifestations of God's word.
Midrash is a kind of scriptural archaeology, bidding us not to stop at surface appearances but
to dig down deeply into the text to uncover hidden riches..."

Midrashic interpretations permit students of Scripture to explore far beyond the safe boundaries of the sacred
canon. Apostates such as Unity minister, Rev. J. Ronald Jones, are permitted nearly unlimited license using
midrashim to support their false teachings:

"Midrash requires that anything to be venerated in the present must be connected with sacred
moments of Jewish history. It is the accepted way of incorporating timelessness, continuity, and
authority into a sacred narrative. Jesus' life was thus connected to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses,
David, Daniel, Elijah, Elisha, '2 Isaiah,' and others. The virgin birth story was made to mirror
earlier stories of Zoroaster and Romulus and Remus; and the ascension story was made to mirror
earlier stories of the Buddha and Osiris...

"How does a text lose its historical focus? The closing of the canon removes a collection of
sacred writings from the temporal process. No subsequent event, world view, conventional wisdom,
or cultural value has the power to change the canon. No new writings can be added. Quite the
opposite, new events must be interpreted with the aid of the canon. The canon stands beyond Time
as a judge of temporal events.

"Both Jewish and liberal Christian communities agree that the Bible as canon still permits
perpetual interpretation. They accept it as normal that there can be an infinite variety of
interpretations all 'inspired' by the text. The goal is to 'search out' the fullness of what was spoken
by God. It is only through a process of dialogue within a community of faith that knowledge of
God's revelation grows and becomes the Word of God for the present generation. Visotzky notes:
'There is no one common reading of Scripture that everyone can agree with--and there never
has been.'6 When a community of faith insists on a single, normative reading that everyone must
'swear to,' it is on the verge of death as a vital community.

"As a methodology, Midrash tends to minimize the authority of the wording of the text. It
places the focus on the reader, and on the personal struggle of the reader to reach an acceptable
moral application of the text. While it is always governed to some degree by the wording of the
text, it allows the reader to project his or her inner struggle into the text. This allows for some very
powerful and moving interpretations which, to the ordinary user of language, can seem to have
very little connection with the text. The great weakness of this method is that it always threatens
to replace the text with an outpouring of personal reflection. At its best it requires the presence of
mystical insight not given to all readers."

Ashkenazic Jews originated in France, Germany, and Eastern Europe.

Sephardic Jews lived in Spain, Portugal, North Africa and the Middle East.

The ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RELIGION describes Ashkenazik Hasidism, which emerged from Germany in the
late 12th C., as a form of Jewish mysticism.

Presently, there is a vast movement afoot with many points of entry (Lubavitcher Movement, Nazarene
Movement, Hebraic Roots/Messianic Movement, Latter Rain/Roman Catholic Year of Jubilee) to bring all of
mankind under the Law. These trendy movements to adopt the customs and feasts of the Mosaic Covenant

"The annual calendar of Israel was built around three major festivals: Passover, Pentecost
and Tabernacles... The Year of Jubilee encompassed these three festivals, only raised to a higher
power ...Then, as well as today, Jesus calls us to experience His jubilee... It's time to blow the
ancient trumpet. It's time to be reconciled to our spiritual roots." (pp. 84, 85)

This massive movement also seems to be leading toward the global establishment of the Noahide Laws
(already U.S. law), for which disobedience the penalty is beheading (Rev. 20:4) THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF
JUDIASM lists these seven universal laws and indicates their binding nature on all Gentiles:

"Full-page ads in the New York Times and other newspapers have proclaimed: ‘All
nations of the world: Fulfill the 7 universal Noahide Laws given to you in the Torah of
Moses.’... One additional element of greater severity is that violation of any one of the
seven laws subjects the Noahide to capital punishment by decapitation. (Sanh. 57A)"

THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF JUDAISM identifies the Babylonian Talmud (T.B.) as the source of "The

Is. 9:16. For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.

Christians or converted Jews who affect a Jewish demeanor, or compromise Christian doctrine to
appeal to the Jewish mindset are surrendering the precious pearl of Jesus Christ who alone leads
to salvation. The ecumenical approach does not lead Jews to Jesus Christ, but patronizes their
religion of dead works, and results in the Christian's acceptance of religion on Jewish terms.
Barb Aho/ To Embrace Hebrew Roots

I hope you were able to at least grasp one thing from this, the roots of this doctrine, from a false angel, and a 7th day Adventist teaching, the O.T. Clearly says the Lord hears ALL prayers in all languages, so also try and refute this, take your bible, start wit the N.T. And prove me wrong, where in the N.T. Doe we learn of this doctrine? No where, the bible reader must be the number source to weed out false doctrine, it can be found nowhere and indeed a dangerous and as Paul said a different false doctrine, start with reading the epistle of Galatians and than Rom 11 and go from there and you will see the grand deception taking place, may he lord wake you up and teach you his truth and not doctrine of men.
