We Can Have Complete Victory Today, It Is By Faith

2Ki 13:15  And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows; and he took unto him bow and arrows.

2Ki 13:16  And he said to the king of Israel, Put thy hand upon the bow; and he put his hand upon it. And Elisha laid his hands upon the king's hands.

2Ki 13:17  And he said, Open the window eastward; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot; and he shot. And he said, Jehovah's arrow of victory, even the arrow of victory over Syria; for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.

2Ki 13:18  And he said, Take the arrows; and he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground; and he smote thrice, and stayed.

2Ki 13:19  And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times: then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it, whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.

Barnes:

2 Kings 13:16

Elisha put his hands upon the king’s hands - A symbolic act, indicating that the successes, which the shooting typified, were to come, not from human skill, or strength, or daring, but from the presence and the power of God.

Gill;

And Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands; on both his hands, which were put, the one on the bow, the other on the arrow (m); hereby signifying, that though the king would draw the bow in battle, the Lord, whom the prophet represented, would give the success; and that it would be by his help, and through his blessing on his arms, that he would obtain victory over his enemies.

The first thing we read in this message is the same today, it is the lord that gives us victory and power over enemies, by the ord power and grace, his mercy ndures forever, he will not let us down as long as we always attribute every victory to Him and to Him alone.

It is not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit saith the lord of Hosts.

Gill:

2 Kings 13:17
And he said, open the window eastward,.... Syria lying east of the land of Israel, as the Jewish commentators in general observe, and for which they quote Isa_9:12, but it lay northeast, or rather more to the north; wherefore this may respect the eastward part of the land of Israel, which the Syrians had got possession of, and should be recovered, as this sign showed, see 2Ki_10:33,

And he opened it: then Elisha said, shoot, and he shot; the arrow, out of the window, being opened:

And he said, the arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; meaning, that that arrow was a sign of the Lord's deliverance of Israel from the Syrians, by whom they had been sadly oppressed, and reduced very low:

for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek till thou hast consumed them; not the whole nation, but that army they should bring thither; which was a city in the land of Israel, where the Syrians were routed in Ahab's time; 100,000 were slain near it on one day, and 27,000 by the fall of the wall of it, 1Ki_20:26 hence some read the words here, "as in Aphek."

The lord gives us signs at times and this is one example a prophetic act that was to serve as a sign from God, that victory was assured.

The fire in the sky prophecy is a sign, it has not been months , less than weeks and I know the lord showed me this and said it was a sign, it will happen , it will be a sign.

Christians must not ask for a sign we can, but we do not read this in he N.T. often, but when the lord says I am giving a sign, it is the lord saying it and not man seeking it, the lord does not waist his breath and it will come to pass.

Geneva Notes say, That is, toward Syria: so that he not only prophesied with words but also confirmed him by these signs that he would have the victory.

A prophecy and a sign, both together.

Henry:

God's grace is not tied to one hand. He can bury his workmen and yet carry on his work.

This is a powerful and true statement, the lord can raise up others and he will in this end time generation, Many will be buried, but the lord will continue His work through others.

Henry:

To animate the king against the Syrians he gives him a sign, orders him to take bow and arrows (2Ki_13:15), to intimate to him that, in order to the deliverance of his kingdom from the Syrians, he must put himself into a military posture and resolve to undergo the perils and fatigues of war. God would be the agent, but he must be the instrument. And that he should be successful he gives him a token, by directing him.

We must be in a spiritual warfare position with our armor on, so we can go through the perils and fatigues of war. Spiritual warfare is the same, it is intense, it is real and it is increasing, but so is the power and presence of our Lord.

The lord is the ultimate agent, author of all we are just his humble instruments.

Henery: cont

To shoot an arrow towards Syria, 2Ki_13:16, 2Ki_13:17. The king, no doubt, knew how to manage a bow better than the prophet did, and yet, because the arrow now to be shot was to have its significancy from the divine institution, as if he were now to be disciplined, he received the words of command from the prophet: Put thy hand upon the bow - Open the window - Shoot.

Nay, as if he had been a child that never drew a bow before, Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands, to signify that in all his expeditions against the Syrians he must look up to God for direction and strength, must reckon his own hands not sufficient for him, but go on in a dependence upon divine aid. He teacheth my hands to war, Psa_18:34; Psa_144:1. The trembling hands of a dying prophet, as they signified the concurrence and communication of the power of God, gave this arrow more force than the hands of the king in his full strength.

Did you get this? This is why we have different gifts, callings, talents. This man was a much better archer than the hands of a trembling old prophet, but the remnant bride needs those hands of the prophet to hold on and show the word of the lord.

It is showing us again, it is all the lord not the might of a survivalist, hunter or military might. The prophetic is needed, the super natural called for, the power of the spirit, a must and victory will be ours.

The arrow of deliverance is his. He shoots out his arrows, and the work is done, Psa_18:14.

Psa 18:13  Jehovah also thundered in the heavens, And the Most High uttered his voice, Hailstones and coals of fire.

Psa 18:14  And he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; Yea, lightnings manifold, and discomfited them.

Henry:

To strike with the arrows, 2Ki_13:18, 2Ki_13:19. The prophet having in God's name assured him of victory over the Syrians, he will now try him and see what improvement he will make of his victories, whether he will push them on with more zeal than Ahab did when Benhadad lay at his mercy.

For the trial of this he bids him smite with the arrows on the ground: “Believe them brought to the ground by the arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and laid at thy feet; and now show me what thou wilt do to them when thou hast them down, whether thou wilt do as David did when God gave him the necks of his enemies, beat them small as the dust before the wind,” Psa_18:40, Psa_18:42. The king showed not that eagerness and flame which one might have expected upon this occasion, but smote thrice, and no more.

Perhaps, he smote thrice, and very coldly, because he thought it but a silly thing, that it looked idle and childish for a king to beat the floor with his arrows; and thrice was often enough for him to play the fool merely to please the prophet.

But, by contemning the sign, he lost the thing signified, sorely to the grief of the dying prophet, who was angry with him, and told him he should have smitten five or six times.

Not being straitened in the power and promise of God, why should he be straitened in his own expectations and endeavors? Note, It cannot but be a trouble to good men to see those they wish well to stand in their own light and forsake their own mercies, to see them lose their advantages against their spiritual enemies, and to give them advantage.

Now we will look at the meat of the message, the first part should be a given , it is all the lord and not us, the word given, a sign given, and this should have resulted in complete faith for the victory, but it did not.

The prophet having in God's name assured him of victory over the Syrians, he will now try him and see what improvement he will make of his victories.

Our faith will be tried, as our Christian walk is. In the N.T. Paul said the word had no effect on certain people because they did not accept it by faith, they herd, they listened, but they failed to mix it with faith.

Faith is essential to receiving anything from the lord. Faith in the word of the lord, the bible. More so than modern prophecy.

The word is faultless; man knows in part and prophesies in part the bible is in whole, so I am not talking about putting faith in a human prophecy, but the revealed word.

Many do not, at times, many read the word and its deep truths but have no lasting or inner effect, because many do not take what they read as a fact and have not faith.

I want to repeat what Henry said,

Perhaps, he smote thrice, and very coldly, because he thought it but a silly thing, that it looked idle and childish for a king to beat the floor with his arrows; and thrice was often enough for him to play the fool merely to please the prophet.

But, by contemning the sign, he lost the thing signified, sorely to the grief of the dying prophet, who was angry with him, and told him he should have smitten five or six times.

Not being straitened in the power and promise of God, why should he be straitened in his own expectations and Endeavour’s? Note, It cannot but be a trouble to good men to see those they wish well to stand in their own light and forsake their own mercies, to see them lose their advantages against their spiritual enemies, and to give them advantage.

Note the line:

Not being straitened in the power and promise of God, why should he be straitened in his own expectations and Endeavour’s.

We must be fixed, unmovable in the promises of God.

To some, one day he is on the throne, the next day, he is off the throne, the next week he is on the throne, in  hard situation some think he is off the throne, Dear reader understand God is always on the throne, it is our faith that is on and off the mark, not the lord. The word will endure forever, after the world is consummated, the word is eternal. Thus we can summate this message with this.

Have Faith in God, we do not have faith in faith, we have faith in God. We must get the complete victory by mixing the reading and hearing of the bible mixed with faith.

Heb 11:1  Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.

Heb 11:6  and without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

This tells us without faith it is imposable to please God, that is a hard word, the lord looks for just a mustard seed of faith, this small seed can, and will in time grow and the faith muscles get stronger by exercise in the spiritual practices of Christianity.

We are to have complete victory, not half the victory, not half of a Holy God, the word says in Col. we are complete in Christ, reader we are complete, we have been given all we need to live the life the lord ha called us to live, supplied by the lord himself.

2Pe 1:3  seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;

We have bee given all that is needed, when we get half a victory it is not the lords fault, it is ours.

We have been freely given all things, we must use the things we are given and we will be victorious in all we are to do, in life, in Godliness, in our call, and in the last days, it starts today in these days as we are being trained to contended with the horse men coming.

It should be a thing we are active about today, we have no excuses if we have not faith, we repent of our fear, lack of faith and move on.

Never stand still spiritually, always progressing into maturity, always increasing in faith and spiritual battles won, yes, we can have complete victory, and we can have it today.

Smite the ground, as many times as needed and keep smiting the ground , and do the devils kingdom damage, in prayer, worship and the word, take that ground today and walk the walk of victory in our lord.

It is a walk of faith- it can be nothing else.

A Private Interview

1Sa 9:26  And they arose early: and it came to pass about the spring of the day, that Samuel called to Saul on the housetop, saying, Up, that I may send thee away. And Saul arose, and they went out both of them, he and Samuel, abroad.

1Sa 9:27  As they were going down at the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul, Bid the servant pass on before us (and he passed on), but stand thou still first, that I may cause thee to hear the word of God.

Henry;

What passed between them in private. Both that evening and early the next morning Samuel communed with Saul upon the flat roof of the house, 1Sa_9:25, 1Sa_9:26. We may suppose Samuel now told him the whole story of the people's desire of a king, the grounds of their desire, and God's grant of it, to all which Saul, living very privately, was perhaps a stranger; he satisfied him that he was the person God had pitched upon for the government; and whereas Saul would object that Samuel was in possession, and he would not for all the world take it out of his hands, Samuel, we may suppose, gave him all the assurance he could desire of his willingness to resign.

Early in the morning he sent him towards home, brought him part of the way, bade him send his servant before, that they might be private (1Sa_9:27), and there, as we find in the beginning of the next chapter, he anointed him, and therein showed him the word of the Lord, that is, gave him full satisfaction that he was the person chosen to be king, for he would not jest with that sacred rite. It is by the unction of the Holy Ghost that Christ, the great prophet, shows us the word of the Lord. 1Jo_2:27, the same anointing teacheth you of all things.

1Sa 9:21  And Saul answered and said, Am not I a Benjamite, of the smallest of the tribes of Israel? and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of Benjamin? wherefore then speakest thou to me after this manner?

On A job interview the last thing you want to say to a prospective job interview, is to point out, I am not the man for the job.

This would be a sure death to your getting that job and outright insane, however; we would say all the good things about ourselves, what we have done, what we have learned , why we would be the best choice, etc.

It is the complete opposite when the lord wants to have an interview with you, he knows and cares not what your short comings are, he already knows them, he is not looking for anything but the words Isaiah spoke, 'Hear am I lord send me'

So many run from a call, an opportunity the lord presents, because they do not feel qualified, guess what you are not, and neither am I. The lord makes us what we are to be along the way, he enables us to be his man or women he calls. The lords interview, his calling on you to be employed for him is the highest calling, we all have it, and there is a great diversity in working for the lord and thus a variety of gifts of the Spirit.

The lord loves diversity, look at all the butiful flowers he created, all the different kinds of sea life, animals, bugs and people. The lord loves his creation and he loves diversity. You are the only person on the whole planet with your thumbprint. Creation, and his created humans made after his image is the lords thumbprint on us and creation.

All the ones called said the same or similar words as Saul did.
David did.
Jer. Did.
Isah Did
I did.
And you did, or will.

However, this heavenly interview, this holy calling is for you, you have an assignment, a purpose you were saved and a reason you are on this earth.
A list of shortcomings never end, not on this world. We simply, humbly, say yes, and trust and obey for there is no other way.

Many have been prepared in secret for the end times; it will blow your mind when you hear the call. It will amaze you, how could the lord chose me, and why, many are more talented, have better gifts, better creditable works, and on, but the lords interview does not have on heavens application for work, a question concerning anything about you aside from, are you willing and when can you start.

I do not mean the qualifications for a Sr. Pastor, minister, deacon, as Paul told Timothy and Titus the qualifications for theses offices, but understand no one is perfect and this is a guide line not a check list, if it were, there would be no one in ministry.

I remember the day the lord called me in for an interview, I was scared to death, an X drug addict, a man of passions, and not one of these things were brought up in the interview.

I was like Gideon hiding in the wine press with the wheat harvested to keep it from the enemy, and in comes the lord-Angel and said, thou mighty man of valor.

Scared to death, full of fear, trembling at his presence, but I had an audience with the king and he told me, do not look behind, look ahead, I have a plan in my hand for you, do not look at what you are, look at what you will become.

This interview is something every single Christian will one day face, it will be up to you to take the lords marching orders, or walk away and laugh, saying you have got to be kidding me, I am not the one you are looking for.

Moses learned this he blew it at age 40, it took 40 years of humble living, before he saw the burning bush.

The burning bush will come when it is time, the gifts and callings of god are irrevocable in Christ Jesus.

If not now, it will come again, the lord always follows up and he always schedules another interview, so just say yes and start your journey into the unknown, buy the glory of the lords power and might, with out it, what can we do any way, well I have to go, I think I hear the lord calling me in for another interview, new marching orders.

The Christians Call To Go The Extra Mile

July 29

THE CHRISTIAN EXTRA
"Whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain."-- Mat_5:41.

OUR LORD refers here to the usage of the East in the transmission of royal messages, which were carried forward by relays of messengers, much in the fashion of the fiery cross in the Highlands, as described in "The Lady of the Lake." The messengers were "press-men"; each town or village was compelled to forward the message to the next, and the first man happened upon was bound to forward the courier with his horses or mules.

In some such way emergencies are continually happening to us all. We arise in the morning not expecting any special demand for help, or any other circumstance to interfere with the regular routine of the day's work, and then suddenly and unexpectedly a demand bursts upon us, and we are obliged to go in a direction which we never contemplated.

We are compelled to go one mile! Then the question arises. Now you have done your duty, performed what you were bound to perform, given what any other person would have given, what are you going to do about the next mile? You had no option about the first; about the second you have an opportunity of choice. Your action in the matter which is optional determines whether or not you have entered into the spirit and ministry of Christ.

Let us not be stingy and niggardly in our dealings with men. There are certain things that must be done, but let us go beyond the must, and do our duty with a smile, and with generous kindness.

It is not enough to pay our servants or employees, let us be thankful for their service; it is not enough to pay our debts, let us give the word also of appreciation; it is not enough to simply do the work for which our employer remunerates us, let us do it with alacrity and eagerness, willing to finish a piece of necessary service even at cost to ourselves.

As the followers of Christ, we are to be stars bearing our light on the vault of night; flowers shedding fragrance on the world; fountains rising in the arid wastes; always giving love and helpful ministry to this thankless and needy world, and as we break and distribute our barley loaves and fishes, our hands will become filled again, and with the measure we mete, it shall be measured to us again (Luk_6:38).

PRAYER
O God, may we be more gracious to those around us. May we fill up the measure of our possibilities, and so be perfect, as Thou, our Father, art perfect in love. AMEN.

Myers devotional today is a deep truth. Jesus taught a lot on what we as Christians are on earth for and it is always for OTHERS.

Our Christian walk is not one of seclusion like a monk. We are to be about our fathers business. If it seems an in-convenient time when someone calls you, or knocks on your door and has need, we are to do and give more than needed.

The beggar at the temple was pan handling, he expected his usually few coins and call it a day, but when Peter and John walked by the mans life was changed for ever, he was healed and never had to beg again, he was made whole, and what a day for that beggar.

We learn in this story we can not give away what we do not have, many have no money, but you have time, many do not have certain callings or gifts, but everyone has a calling and a gift, and you use that to the glory of God. Use it or lose it,( Parable of the talents ) we simply move in obedience and we hear the lord speak to our heart, this is the way walk ye in it.

We are to be ready in season and out of season, to give an answer to everyone that asks us about the hope we have. This means 24/7 and when it is convenient and not a convenient time.

We are called to share our lord with everyone we see, everyone standing in a line at a store, we are all called to this, a simple smile and a track handed to them could be the word that changes that person for life and makes them whole.

The small things we do, may seem little, but the domino effect works wonders, like pay if forward, we will never know until we reach heaven what an impact our small and seemingly insignificant life’s made on our fellow man, never underestimate what a word can do, what a kind act can do and going the extra mile can do.

It can turn into thousands of miles. the word of the lord never returns empty and so we must forge ahead in these days, we must be willing to go that extra mile, carry the torch handed down to us from the generation that has passed and we can light a blaze that will shine a light in this dark world.

All it takes is obedience and a willing heart, ask the lord, Lord what would you have me do today, is there anyone I should speak to, what ever you want to do with me today lord , even if it is an inconvenience, I am willing to go the extra mile as your ambassador on earth.

Jer 5:14  Wherefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, Because ye speak this word, behold, I will make my words in thy mouth fire.......

Fear Not The Planets, The alignments, Constellations, Planet X, Fear None Of This As The Heathen Does, And Many Christians

Jer 10:2  Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Herbrew Dismayed;

H2865
חתת
châthath
khaw-thath'
A primitive root; properly to prostrate; hence to break down, either (literally) by violence, or (figuratively) by confusion and fear: - abolish, affright, be (make) afraid, amaze, beat down, discourage, (cause to) dismay, go down, scare, terrify.

Gill:

and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; by which are meant, not any extraordinary signs, such as are predicted in Joe_2:30, and by our Lord, as signs of the last destruction of Jerusalem, and of his coming, and of the end of the world, Mat_24:3, but ordinary signs, which are no other than the sun, and moon, and stars, which are set up for signs and seasons, and days and years, Gen_1:14, and as long as they are observed as signs of places and of times, it is well enough; but if more is attributed unto them, as portending things future, and as having an influence on the birth and death, dispositions and actions of men, when in such a conjunction, situation, and position, it is wrong; which is what is called judicial astrology, and to which the Chaldeans were much addicted, and is here condemned;

nor should men possess themselves with fears with what shall befall them on such accounts, since all things are under the determination, direction, and influence of the God of heaven, and not the signs of them; especially they should not be so observed as to be worshipped, and to be so awed by them as to fear that evil things will befall, if they are not; and to this sense is the Syriac version, "the signs of the heavens do not worship, or fear". Jarchi interprets them of the eclipses of the luminaries, which may be thought to forbode some dreadful things (l):

for the Heathen are dismayed at them; which is a reason why the people of God should not, because it is a Heathenish fear; or, "though the Heathen" (m), &c.; though they are frightened at such and such conjunctions and positions of the stars, and fear that such and such dreadful things will follow;

And never regard the supreme Being and first cause of all things; yet such who have the knowledge of the true God, and a revelation of his will, ought not to be terrified hereby; see Isa_47:13. This text is brought to prove that the Israelites are not under any planet (n); since the Heathens are dismayed at them, but not they.

JFB:

Signs of heaven — The Gentiles did not acknowledge a Great First Cause: many thought events depended on the power of the stars, which some, as Plato, thought to be endued with spirit and reason. All heavenly phenomena, eclipses, comets, etc., are included.

Barnes:

Jeremiah 10:2

Signs of heaven - Extraordinary appearances, such as eclipses, comets, and the like, which seemed to the pagan to portend national calamities. To attribute importance to them is to walk in pagan ways.

Clarke:

Be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed - The Chaldeans and Egyptians were notoriously addicated to astrology; and the Israelites here are cautioned against it. The signs of the heavens may mean either the sun, moon, planets, and particular stars or constellations; or the figures or characters by which they represented these heavenly bodies.

Geneva notes;

God forbids his people to give credit or fear the constellations and conjunctions of stars and planets which have no power of themselves but are governed by him, and their secret motions and influences are not known to man and therefore there can be no certain judgment of it,

Wesley:

Jeremiah 10:2
Learn not - The Jews being to live among the Chaldeans in their captivity, where many of them were already, the prophet admonishes them against the Chaldean idolatries, who were all much addicted to astrology. The signs - This was so common among them, that Judicial astrologers, of what nation soever, were generally termed Chaldeans. The Heathen - Leave this to Heathens; it doth not become God's people.

Henry:

I. A solemn charge given to the people of God not to conform themselves to the ways and customs of the heathen. Let the house of Israel hear and receive this word from the God of Israel: “Learn not the way of the heathen, do not approve of it, no, nor think indifferently concerning it, much less imitate it or accustom yourselves to it.

Let not any of their customs steal in among you (as they are apt to do insensibly) nor mingle themselves with your religion.” Note, It ill becomes those that are taught of God to learn the way of the heathen, and to think of worshipping the true God with such rites and ceremonies as they used in the worship of their false gods. See Deu_12:29-31.

It was the way of the heathen to worship the host of heaven, the sun, moon, and stars; to them they gave divine honours, and from them they expected divine favours, and therefore, according as the signs of heaven were, whether they were auspicious or ominous, they thought themselves countenanced or discountenanced by their deities, which made them observe those signs, the eclipses of the sun and moon, the conjunctions and oppositions of the planets, and all the unusual phenomena of the celestial globe, with a great deal of anxiety and trembling.

Business was stopped if any thing occurred that was thought to bode ill; if it did but thunder on their left hand, they were almost as if they had been thunderstruck. Now God would not have his people to be dismayed at the signs of heaven, to reverence the stars as deities, nor to frighten themselves with any prognostications grounded upon them.

Let them fear the God of heaven, and keep up a reverence of his providence, and then they need not be dismayed at the signs of heaven, for the stars in their courses fight not against any that are at peace with God. The heathen are dismayed at these signs, for they know no better; but let not the house of Israel, that are taught of God, be so.

This may seem like a little matter to some readers, but it is a big mater. I have read, heard, listened to many Christians talk of Planet alignments, planet X, (a hoax by the way), the constellations like in my post Virgo is not the women in Revelations Chapter 12, and such.

I called out the whole ELEin comet and I was correct, how, it did not fit in the orthodox bible prophetic timeline, the word.

Gills commentary said correctly, he is not saying signs in the sky concerning the end times. Luke alone adds, there shall be fearful sights and signs in the sky.

My question is what are these fearful sights and signs in the sky Luke talks about, we are given no bible information on these, and so, as always, every celestial event, many Christians simply fall and sub come to , this must be one of the signs in the sky. It is similar to being carried away with every wind of doctrine.

There are many out in Cyber world that claim this or that, it goes viral and in fear and panic Christian fall for it, like Virgo, the sign and the dragon constellation.
I am sad to read on End time pilgrim he posted the same thing as Agusto Perez, a false prophet and others, it has gone viral and was conjured up from the cult of the black virgin in France, I wrote a lot on this. See the constellation Virgo is not the women in Rev ch. 12 to read what I am saying and read the truth on this matter.

It is a must read, here is the link to that detailed teaching.

Due to the days we live in, everything that happens, people get all fearful and think it is significant to bible prophecy, it causes them to be put is dismay, fear, panic.

This should not be the case at all, not for the true remnant bride, these are non- issues. Planet X the big one, it is a hoax I am telling you now, with out any doubt, this planet if its even out there, will have no effect on earth in 2012, thanks to the Mayan Calendar viral bull on the net and in movies.
As I called our ELEin comet, I do now officially declare the same, Planet X is a hoax and will 100% a non-event.

People in that camp, many so called watchman , think this is why America and other countries have so many underground bases, they said comet ELEin was the reason, now its Planet X, next year it will be Planet Y, or Z. These well known bunkers are for when the economy falls and chaos is on the nations, when society in the West breaks down, that is the reason and nothing astrologically, mark my words, once again it does not line up with the proper orthodox prophetic time line, fact.

Beloved fear not the constellations, do not listen to these people, many of them, as I wrote before, that call themselves watchmen, all but one, say we are already well into the tribulation, and antichrist, seal one the white horse has not taken place, thus we are in the birth pains, and no one knows how long the birth pain time frame is, the bible is silent on this.

This looking to the planets and stars is a distraction, it takes the person from working while it is light, we are to work while it is light, for when darkness comes, the mid trib, no man can work, (meaning caring on as usual), until than and now, have peace, do not fear, the internet gets more crazy by the day, just when you think  you have heard and read it all, out comes yet another non- biblical thing and it goes viral, and many are distracted.

Distractions are the Devils work, he wants people wrapped up in so much fear, they are to afraid to carry on and go out and win souls and do his work. Distractions, fear, are the daily bread many eat, the bread of sorrows and it causes disobedience, we must be able to say one day as Paul did.

“I have ran the race, I have finished my course, I have not been disobedient to the heavenly vision”, this is our call, may we run the race and keep running until we win, a fitting ending seeing the Olympics are on. LOL.

Jer 10:21  For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

Jer 10:22  Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, and a den of dragons.

Jer 10:23  O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

David Wilkerson's Devotional Today Really Has A Great Truth We Must All Learn

David Wilkerson Today

MY CLOTHES GOT IN THE WAY!

by David Wilkerson

[May 19, 1931 - April 27, 2011]

I remember as a young evangelist preaching at a crusade before 5,000 people in

Los Angeles. At least 2,000 of those people were Christian hippies. They had

just been born again and were brought out of the hippie culture. Many of these

young people lay sprawled before me on the floor, barefoot, wearing long hair

and tattered clothes.

That night I was dressed in a spiffy blue blazer with a sharp tie, the latest

bell-bottom slacks and shiny shoes. When I took the stage, I started railing on

those kids. I said, "Some of you look awful. Put on some decent clothes and get

a haircut before you come back tomorrow night!"

Backstage after the service, I was met by a delegation of those long-haired,

young hippie Christians. One of them ran his fingers down my fashionable coat

collar and said, "What a beautiful suit." Then he looked up at me and said,

"Brother David, we couldn't see Jesus tonight."

"Why not?" I asked.

"Your clothes got in the way," he replied. I had considered them to be too

dressed down — and they had considered me to be too dressed up.

Those kids were not making fun of me. They were sincere. They wept as they told

me, "We believe you're a man of God, but you're missing something." I know now

that it was mercy I lacked. I never railed on that subject again. God taught me

a hard lesson, one I pray remains in my heart.

Let me say this: Many Christians think it is enough to be pure and sanctified.

We think that is the number-one issue and that all we need to do is abstain

from evil, come out from the world and remain clean. As long as we don't smoke,

drink, fornicate or commit adultery, we think we are pure.

No one has preached stronger messages on holiness and purity over the years

than I have. But according to James, purity is merely the first matter of

concern: "The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle,

and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality,

and without hypocrisy" (James 3:17). Yes, first we are to be clean. But mercy,

grace and kindness are to follow.

Get Busy Living, Or Get Busy Dying

Ecc 12:1 Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

Ecc 12:2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

We are going to look at the whole chapter of ECC 12. The first two verses, is in its meaning, enjoy life while it is still good.

This says get busy living

I say everyday when I awake and see the sun, this is the day the LORD has made I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD IN IT.

I look at the sun and just thank the lord for another day. It is true we have many things going on, many events coming, Judgments are on the West and the earth, and we are in the throws of the birth pains.

Jesus told us what are response was to be in the days we are living in right now.

Mat 24:6  And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mat 24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Mat 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

According to the very words Jesus said, concerning the very days we live in, we find what our Christian response is to be.

..... see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass.

In ECC  vrs 1 it says. while the evil days come not. Jesus said concerning these times vs 6, but the end is not yet.

Ecc 12:2 While the sun, or the light, or the moon, or the stars, be not darkened, nor the clouds return after the rain:

I think on this as I said, every day I wake up and see the sun, at night when I go out and look at the stars and moon in the quiet desert.

The first two verses Solomon is setting up what follows. The first part is while you are alive, while the sun is shinning, though there are daily wars and rumors of war, bad economic forecast, droughts and a coming famine, today, this day, the economy has not collapsed and the famine has not yet come.

Our response, we thank the lord for the day he has given us, and we are to be glad and rejoice in it. We go about are daily tasks, we spend time with loved ones, many still have jobs, houses money, to  the remnant Christians that still have a job, a place, a car, nice food to eat, a good life full of praise this is reason to take a deep breath, take a pause from all the coming doom and until it hits, simply get busy living.

Why live as you were already dying. I know many people who are so full of fear and are freaked out concerning the events coming, they have no peace, no gratitude, they are scared to death, but wait, today the sun is still shinning, today we still have something to eat, a roof over our head and loved ones.

So why live as a walking dead person, fear kills faith, unbelief quenches the spirit, we must have a smile, we are Jesus ambassadors to this wicked generation. Get busy living or get bust dying.

The rest of the chapter Solomon is driving home his point by speaking of the days that are coming, but are not here yet.

Ecc 12:3  In the day when the keepers of the house shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows be darkened,

Ecc 12:4  And the doors shall be shut in the streets, when the sound of the grinding is low, and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird, and all the daughters of musick shall be brought low;

Ecc 12:5  Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:

Ecc 12:6  Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.

Ecc 12:7  Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

Ecc 12:8  Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.

Ecc 12:9  And moreover, because the preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yea, he gave good heed, and sought out, and set in order many proverbs.

Ecc 12:10  The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.

Ecc 12:11  The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd.

Ecc 12:12  And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Ecc 12:13  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Ecc 12:14  For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

This is what is coming, it has started, but it is not here yet, so in contrast this Chapter is saying, get busy living, or get busy dying.

Yes very, very soon its going to hit the fan, but we who are truly His, need to fear nothing, the bible has one fear not for everyday in the year, plus one for leap year, so one saying the lord wants to get into his peoples hearts on a daily bases is FEAR NOT.

Many need to fast from all the fear, take a vacation from your fears and problems, this is done in full hearted prayer, worship and the word, his peace that surpasses all understanding comes over you after prayer.

I preach, write, and teach on the coming judgments, the economic fall, the fall of America and the West, I write a lot on this, but I keep it in balance, that is why the ministry is called truth and mercy.

My readers can read many, many encouraging words to the true holy remnant bride, these words are for your eyes and ears only, we have hope no matter what comes, we have a rock, we are covered, and our lord said in these birth pains see that you worry not, or are in trouble, or fear. So why are you?
It is because you are not busy living, your busy dying.

My advice from this message from Ecc 12, is dear saint of the lord, when you open your eyes say this is the day the lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it, today beloved, make a choice will you get busy living, or will you get busy dying? The choice is yours.

By the way, this title was my favorite line in a movie I saw many years ago, The Shaw shank Redemption, adapted from a short story by Stephen King, so if the master of horror, can give such a profound line, how much more our lord and his word?

ARE YOU A MERCIFUL CHRISTIAN?

by David Wilkerson

[May 19, 1931 - April 27, 2011]

"But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and

your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he

is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

"Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye

shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and

ye shall be forgiven" (Luke 6:35-37).

You probably remember the story of Sodom and Gomorrah related in Genesis. Two

angels, appearing as men, approached the gates of Sodom. Most likely they were

dressed just as any ordinary person.

Abraham's nephew Lot sat at the city gate, possibly in some official rank (he

may have been one of the city elders who welcomed visitors).

Let me ask you: Why did God send angels to rescue Lot and his family? We know

that Lot and his daughters ultimately were saved out of Sodom, but his two

sons-in-law and wife were destroyed. Why was Lot saved? Why did God send angels

to literally pull this man out of destruction?

Was it because of Lot's morality? Was it because God saw something great in

him? No! The answer is very simple: "The Lord being merciful unto him . . .

brought him forth, and set him without the city" (Genesis 19:16). God was being

merciful to Lot.

I see Lot as a type of remnant believer in these last days, living in a wicked

society about to be judged. Right now America is ripe for destruction; indeed,

our nation is already under judgment. And Lot represents the righteous remnant

church in the midst of it, for the Bible calls Lot a righteous man (see 2 Peter

2:6-8).

Yet, if God's church today is righteous, it is only because of the blood of

Jesus Christ, and not because of any goodness or morality the Lord has seen in

us. It is only out of His sheer mercy that He came to us and pulled us out of

judgment, even when we hesitated to leave our sins. The Lord, being merciful to

us, brought us forth and has set us outside this doomed society. We deserve to

be consumed but He has had mercy on us.

Thursday Classic Christian Music Video Day Number Week 2

These two videos, songs, are a couple of my favorites. Dallas Holm and his classic I saw The Lord, this song above many others back in the 80's always took me into the presence of the lord. It as always done so to this day, simply anointed.

The second video was a dove award winner, best song of the year with Sandi Patty and Wayne Watson, Another Tine Another Place. Notice Wayne s 80's hair, I had the same hair in the 80's LOL.
A truly brilliant song, and it was the best of the best from A to Z, I hope many have good memories when they hear these, and to the younger believers I hope you get a chance to see how good and anointed the classic music was and still is.

Do Not Waist Your Breath When The Enemy Tries To Scare You

2Ki 18:30  Neither let Hezekiah make you trust in the LORD, saying, The LORD will surely deliver us, and this city shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of Assyria.

2Ki 18:33  Hath any of the gods of the nations delivered at all his land out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

2Ki 18:34  Where are the gods of Hamath, and of Arpad? where are the gods of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah? have they delivered Samaria out of mine hand?

2Ki 18:35  Who are they among all the gods of the countries, that have delivered their country out of mine hand, that the LORD should deliver Jerusalem out of mine hand?

2Ki 18:36  But the people held their peace, and answered him not a word: for the king's commandment was, saying, Answer him not.

We read the Assyrian King, was telling the Jewish people, do not let your King make you trust in the lord.

This sounds insane , but it is what the enemy tries to do, by people, the flesh, the Devil and circumstances, Like Jobs wife who said, ‘just curse God and die’, this is the way many think.

The first thing we learn is the word TRUST. The enemy says you cannot trust the lord, we are more powerful, we are the mighty ones, we have a track record, to date no nation and no god, has delivered them from our hands, so who is this god you think will deliver you, answer Jehovah the almighty, unlike all other Gods, that’s who.

When David confronted Goliath, David said, ' You come with weapons and blaspheme the name of the lord, I come with the power and in the name of the lord and you are going down big man'. (paraphrase)

The threats by evil, they have always been heard, they echo through History and they speak now.

Jesus spoke not a word, the people were told not to speak back not a word to these evil fear mongers. We are not to talk with the enemy of our soul; we must put to death the fear of the flesh.

We serve the almighty, we know we are in his hands, we have trust he will deliver. The whole bible is filled with promises to trust. Simple, yet powerful Trust, it combats fear, and stops us from shaking at every word we hear.

Many may say,' You call yourself a Christian , look at what you just did, look at what you just said, on and on these evil ones speak.

The N.T. teaches us a lot about being silent when cursed, we are to return it with a blessing, we are told, do not retaliate with words when spoken evil of, commit your self to the lord you trust , as he alone is judge.

The enemy always tries to give you their resume, laugh at it, toss it out and rejoice, because the lord will protect you, justify you, bless you and take your enemies down.

We all face giants, many are of our own making, but we can also take them down with one word, Jesus.

The lord keeps impressing on me to tell the remnant bride to fear not. I just recorded a sermon, called, ‘The Last Tear To Fall In History', the cam on the PC, a new one, simply came out so bad, the voice was worse than an overdubbed Godzilla movie LOL.

I am working on the issue and almost have it fixed, I had to trash the sermon, but will re-record it, as it is a good word, and anointed for the brides eyes and ears only.

The call, Trust, the outcome Faith, the giant that falls, fear.

He Is A Fake, No He Is A Murderer, No wait, He Is A god.

Act 28:3  And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

Act 28:4  And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.

Act 28:5  And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm.

Act 28:6  Howbeit they looked when he should have swollen, or fallen down dead suddenly: but after they had looked a great while, and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds, and said that he was a god.

Mar 16:17  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Mar 16:18  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

I always get a kick out of reading the main text Acts 28, how man changes his mind so fast, it is like being carried about my every wind of doctrine. It was the same with Jesus, Hosannas than crucify him, many believed on Jesus because they were fed food, others because they were healed, still others because they saw signs, wonders and miracles. At the end of the day, after the signs faded as a memory it was crucify him, and so goes man.

These Pagans on the small island of Malta, many were converted, they knew as any indigenous people what was poison and what would kill a man in an instant, this was no Gardner snake that bit Paul, Gardner snakes do not bite with such ferocity you have to shake them off. Only deadly vipers do that, and many of them just strike, this was a super deadly snake, that should have killed Paul instantly and these natives on Malta knew it.

The lesson here is, the way humans think, first we notice the great Apostle Paul was the one gathering the fire wood, he was not sitting on rose peddles, he was doing labor, he was in a since washing the disciples feet, Paul knew the greatest is the least, the first last, and he knew about being a servant.
The secret of being a servant was put on full display, and he was a prisoner at that. You will know a true Christian by putting others before themselves and walking in a humble spirit, serving as a servant of the lord would.

When we as humble servants are about our masters business, we will encounter vipers, spiritual wickedness, persecution and such. The devil is called the old serpent and snake, as he came in that form in the garden of Eden, he changes not , same old devil, same old serpent, but the servants of Jesus in his name overcome the devil, we are to trample under foot scorpions and snakes, as Jesus said.

This again speaks of spiritual warfare.

There have been many people all through out history, that embraced the Gospel and left it as soon as a concern, a storm, or a problem arose, narrow is the gate that leadeth to life, and those who enter in are few, but broad , and large is the gate that leads to hell and many will be going in that gate to eternity.

We also learn, and Mk 16 backs this up, lit. If we drink any deadly thing we shall not be hurt, just eating the food we do now days is dangerous and filled with additives and poisons.

GMO foods, the lord only knows the full affect all this genetically modified food will do to us, but we will not be hurt, it we pray over every meal.

Note; this Mk 16 verse is the verse, the single verse, the Pentecostal cults in W.Virginia practice snake handling, they are almost all gone, a few are around, but this is the only verse they use, the danger of a crazy practice or belief based on one verse, this is the norm in a cult.

These Pagan Barbarians as many are , are full of superstition, they were not saved yet, understandable, in ancient history, even now many cults are very superstitious , they fear planet alignments, and comets, many things, they worship the creation and not the creator. Native American Indians do this, and this is where many New Age teachings come from.

A similar story happened in Acts when Paul and Barnabus were ministering in signs and wonders the superstitious people lifted them up and wanted to make them gods.

Modern day T.V. ministers only wish they could get such a mystical people so they could be gods, many think they are, and to hell, they will be going.

Saved and unsaved a like, many people change their minds often; this should not be the case.

Jas 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Jas 1:6  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

Jas 1:7  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Jas 1:8  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

In the Greek double minded means to vacillate between two opinions and not steady. Pagans do it, Christians do it, and Humanity does it. In this lesson, we learn faith, not vacillation always changing our mind and doctrine.

In ministry as a Pastor, I found at first men welcomed me, they listened , responded, but always in time, gossip started, back biting, putting the man behind the pulpit down because he had a white sock on and a grey one on, and things like that, people never change, and they never will. One day its your anointed, the next your a murderer, the N.T. Jesus said if you hate your brother you committed murder, we have a lot of Christian murderers out in the world, and many need to deal with that.

It is always Hosanna, and than crucify him, always, Jesus said if they persecuted me, they will persecute and kill you.

Signs and wonders are on us and coming, but know this, when people accept Jesus because of a sign or a wonder and do not stay the course, they will have their chance to decide, will I stay with these Jesus freaks, or will I go where there is comfort, people, food, hay a simple mark is all I need and my suffering will be over, sadly we must arm ourselves with this fact, many will chose that broad and wide gate, we are not to be discouraged, we continue on to the next teachable, willing soul, and simply move on.

You are not being rejected, the lord and your ministry is. We have victory over every scorpion and snake, we trample them underfoot. We are given in Jesus name the ability to say, the lord rebuke you Satan and he must flee.

We do not sit around and have a conversation with the devil, he would love you to interview him as there is no such thing as bad press, too many talk to much of the devil, and not enough about Jesus, this gives the devil center stage, and he loves it.

Concentrate on the lord, worship him, adore him, love the brethren and look for miracles, signs and wonders, but know in advance many times in this life you will stand alone.

Be of good courage, because when this happens, the lord himself will stand with you, you are never alone. He will never leave or forsake you. Let the serpents bite, let the fellow believers reproach you, the spirit of God and Glory rests on you as Peter said, and to this we are called.
